Welcome to Thread 11 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

Does anyone else think this has been really staged. I simply can't believe Rachel has gotten this far after the whole Fiona incident, and then Jesse accusing her. Why are they only just switching on now? Stephen turns red every time he is questioned. Yes, they have both played a good games, especially Rachel.

No. They'd be idiotic to stage it.

murasaki · 22/01/2026 23:18

I'm still rooting for Rachel and Stephen to be faithful traitors in that they stick their pact to each other. It's getting tricky to achieve that though. If she goes, they have, if not and James goes.....

Maggiethecat · 22/01/2026 23:32

On uncloaked Roxy (dear Roxy), said she’d like Stephen to win when Ed asked.
Did she say that because she knows that Rachel is out, having done the reveal with the banished traitor, or is she just totally pissed off with viperous Rachel who has survived?

Choux · 22/01/2026 23:44

RubieChewsDay · 22/01/2026 22:48

I mean we all knew it was going to be a cliffhanger!

Which makes me wonder, what happens tomorrow that made them think that it wouldn't be? Does Rachel go out meaning that tomorrow Stephen goes first and then it's just half an hour of us wondering which set of faithfuls will win? So they needed something to make sure we go in excited?

The cliffhanger makes me think that Rachel leaves as if we were shown her being banished tonight we would spend 24 hours theorising it was going to be a damp squib final with not much jeopardy.

If Rachel goes Faraaz will be the newly appointed leader of the faithful and he and Jack - who is suspicious of Stephen - will team up and:
1 banish James with the help of either Stephen or Jade then
2 banish Jade with Stephen’s help then
3 banish Stephen then
4 win.

Although I didn’t see Joe Marler being banished in the celeb version so maybe I will get a surprise tomorrow.

Another great episode! Really looking forward to the final now. I didn’t like Rachel at all to start with, but I’ve warmed to her now and hope she got the shield. Realistically I don’t think she’s likely to win, but I think she deserves to be in the final - especially as after the Fiona showdown we were all saying on here that we couldn’t see any of these traitors making it to the final, and that we would be likely to have all new traitors in the final! To survive all that was impressive.

i think I’d like to see a Traitors win, especially if it’s both of them.

I was gutted we didn’t see Roxy’s reaction, it was the only reason I watched Uncloaked! But realised quite quickly that it was so they didn’t reveal who was banished (to the person the said it must be Rachel because if James they could edit him out and you’d hear her saying “Rachel” I don’t think they would as that would also give away who went - so it makes sense that they left it).

I was disappointed in Stephen throwing shit Rachel’s way all day, but glad he didn’t vote for her and did make sure he also put James in his conversations earlier.

Roll on tomorrow night!

I don’t think anyone got a shield tonight think it was just no one was going to be murdered

bellabelly · 22/01/2026 23:56

I'd really like Faraaz & James to win but if not him then Stephen & Rachel together. But I think Rachel has probably gone, one way or another!

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 00:27

Stephen couldn’t write Rachel’s name in case she survived banishment. He knows she would then go after him and get him out.

Rachel seemed so obvious when she was saying she caught a traitor I thought they would all put her name after that.

I love the way Faraaz sits there taking it all in.

I wonder if you would be paid the same fee if you're banished first or if there's a sliding scale, the longer youjstay the more you get?

It's a daily stipend, said to be about £100 a day. This has long been the standard payment model for non-celeb reality tv contestants both here and in the US. It's to provide some compensation for a contestant not being able to work during that time.

So yes the earlier you exit the show the less you receive UNLESS the show requires you to be sequestered for some or all of the remaining filming process, in which case you'll still be paid the daily stipend. This happens in some of the very big US reality tv shows. I've not heard they do that in the UK Traitors and I'd be surprised if they did.

Its not about looking for sophistication - I’m always interested in everyday clothes which work on tall bodies. Most clothes on the high street do not work on me so I’m simply interested in where they come from if I see some on TV.

You can find her stylist on Instagram and she posts lots of links, Sinead McKeefry. Yes @Liquoriceallsortsmadear she does have a stylist and Claudia’s outfits are very sought after, despite not being to your obviously superior taste…

TheGreenBow · 22/01/2026 23:06

I did want Stephen to win or Rachel (but I don’t think she can now) - but I didn’t like how Stephen went totally against her the very next day whereas we didn’t see Rachel do that at all. It wasn’t nice to see even though I know it’s part of the game. Could just have been the editing but Rachel has played quite a fair game I think when it comes to Stephen and the promise they made.

Edited

Exactly, I thought the same. Rachel told Stephen in the tower she may need to speak about him to save them both but she 's hardly said anything whereas he started laying into her to EVERYONE the next day and it may have swayed Jade, who was always more inclined towards James,

Rachel is my fave player, will really miss her, I liked the two of them and Stephen at least had undone the damage somewhat at the round table by going at James, but I wish he hasn't planted seeds that actively prior. I do think Rachel is phenomenal in her composure and intelligence.

Faraaz does also suspect Jade, he always say Jade and Rachel, or Jade an Stephen so he is not quite spot on as pp say. But close, yes.

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 01:24

Stephen said he’s going to do a round up of where he gets his clothes from shortly on instagram

She does do convincing falsehood so well, it must be unnerving for her family and friends!

She said at the beginning she's a nice person in real life. I think she's the type you'd want as a friend....really straight, moral, fair. Of course, she could be lying 😂

Can’t catch up on posts now, but just wanted to say how adorable Faraaz was when he said he’d hug his mum every 10min if they were on the show together. Hope my kids turn out like him!

He.seems a real sweetie and clever. Hope he does well.

Daygloboo · 23/01/2026 02:17

Sorry if im being thick but would a traitors where the tv audience NEVER sees who the traitors are for the whole series work ? As in all secret traitors all the time. Like their voices in the turret could be disguised.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 23/01/2026 05:01

i think they have shown Stephen making a lot of decisions more so than Rachel. i mean Rachel is acting, being friendly to all, and calm

Hobnobswantshernameback · 23/01/2026 06:21

If Stephen was the only traitor left of Rachel goes will he have to recruit even though it's the last night?
imagine being a traitor only for a day

They won't recruit this late.

Does anyone know how secret the final result is kept?
Do the other players know or do they also find out when it's aired on TV?

It got me thinking last night when Roxy was saying who she would like to win. Does she genuinely not know yet like the rest of us?

No. Look at how impossible it was to identify the secret traitor.
They put in "clues" all over the place for loads of people and there was basically nothing for the viewers to work on, plus it kinda ruined the suspension of disbelief...it made us very very very aware we're seeing an edited version of what is happening, rather than a more natural documentary/retelling of the events unfolding.

It would be shit and really really really hard to edit.

The other players don't know.
The few who do will be under tight non disclosure things, the winner won't receive the money until the reveal etc
The production staff will be incredibly protective of the result.

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 23/01/2026 07:04

I was watching Roxy generally how she came across, and the "I'm probably the most popular" incident, and at the time, I thought "ahhh, poor young lass, the arrogance of youth is fascinating"

She's fucking 33 😂😂

I thought she was 23!!
