Welcome to Thread 10 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

I didn't call out the others because - amazingly- I don't spend my whole day reading all the comments on this thread. I just happened to see that one. I did not say that 'one's' had to mean 'mine'; I said it could. In the context, and before the poster explained, it definitely implied 'all' MILs. I can't understand why women are happy to defend derogatory stereotypes of women, however innocently they were used.

With apologies to everyone else but I have to address this:

@Womaninhouse17 I was fine with moving on and I'm not the person you're replying to, but here you are putting the putting the boot in again. "Derogatory stereotypes of women" - get over yourself. It was a tongue in cheek flippant comment in the spirit of having a relaxed laugh - as I've done on this threads sine S1 under this name and another - about my MIL, using affected language, but knowingly tipping a wink to the stereotype of MILs in the way women can wryly make jokes about tropes of women in a way they wouldn't to men.

I've had a terrible week, in large part because of my MIL, but actually also because my son received homophobic abuse. So it did smart a bit when whoever she was chimed in with you and referred to me as a MIL-bitcher and how she hoped I had a son so I'd be a MIL to a DIL one day. . Another poster PM'd me to say that poster made the same comment on another thread. Clearly she has a problem understanding or accepting that not all men couple up with women.

And yes, despite your condescending dismissal to the poster above, you DID see that example because I tagged you in a post referring to it and you responded to that post. And no, you didn't call it out.

I've enjoyed being on here having a laugh with women who are clever and witty. I appreciate that may not be your thing. But you've sucked the fun out of this thread for me by yet again, after I explained and kind of apologised, making an empathetic and disgusted statement as if I committed a hate crime. If you look at my posting history, which goes back years, the funny thing is I don't think you'll see one other mention of the term MIL. Certainly not mine. I suggest you take the stick out of your arse and try and enjoy this great thread. I''ll leave you to it.

I hope she is, that’d be a good move and make for a more interesting game.

Oh yes! The dagger cliffhanger

Evening all! Cant believe it’s the final week

The surprise will be three more contestants brought back from the dead/banishment and extra shows next week!

TraitorsFan · 21/01/2026 20:04

We wish!

claudiaswinklemen · 21/01/2026 20:05

Ooh, confident Rachel at breakfast.

C8H10N4O2 · 21/01/2026 20:05

I wonder how they will do the dagger - make it publicly known or announce afterward which name gets double points?

I’ve finally caught up on threads 7, 8, 9 and now 10! I didn’t post on those ones, it went by so quick. Last week’s episodes were really interesting and I was fully engaged so wasn’t following the threads along. As a reminder to myself:

Episode 7 - Harriet banished. Mission was bringing the cherub statues back to the red fountain and tons of shields.
Episode 8 - Adam murdered, Sam banished. Mission was cabin or horrors.
Episode 9 - Jessie murdered, Ellie banished. Mission was the jack in the box questions about each other.

Remaining 8 contestants

  1. Rachel
  2. Stephen
  3. Faraaz
  4. James (bouncy duplicitous shield guy gardener)
  5. Jack (feather earring glasses guy)
  6. Matt (wannabe traitor, Father Ted cast)
  7. Jade
  8. Roxy

Cliffhanger - who gets the dagger.

I have no idea who they’ll give the dagger to. I think it’s a poisoned chalice too, anything that marks you out puts you in the spotlight and suspicious and up for banishment! I would give it to Jade, she will use it on whoever is naming her.

When we saw Harriet implore in Wednesday episode, we were just like what did she just decide she’d had enough and preferred her own sofa!? It seemed so out of the blue her behaviour at breakfast. She said she was going to play it so chill. In Uncloaked and her radio interview she did say she lost sight that it was a game. Fiona, Amanda and then Harriet - they did seem to take themselves out, with asking people to vote for them. Maybe they had enough!

Sam really did himself in didn’t he, and he came across really well on Uncloaked. He put himself out there at the beginning and suffered the consequences of that.

Jade’s story is so sad. I felt so sad for Ellie as well when she said at the RT that she was blindsided by Jade leaving nd went closer to Rachel for comfort.

Surprised by the Roxy hate. I see her behaviour as very insecure and that makes me feel sorry for her, especially given her background of being adopted at 6pm. Asking if she’s popular in that mission was a sign of seeking constant reassurance to me. The way Harriet spoke to her was not nice, so good on her and i can understand her reaction. Not sure why some people think Harriet had a right to have her pre-determined speech, when Roxy was just trying to tell her what the group had decided, I didn’t see that as Roxy trying to lead. Even Harriet says it wasn’t right now she’s out.

Thank you everyone for the discussion! Highlights for me have been that Golden Balls split or steal scene with Nick and Ibrahim, it’s fantastic. That popbitch blind must be about Reece because of the mention of being “outwardly sweet” and he works in a sweet shop. Loved the Observer article with the Executive Producer too, that they can’t get involved and even they don’t anticipate what the players will do.

Probably won’t be able to keep up with all the posts again this week. What’s everyone doing for the Friday night episode?

i think Rachel would have been quickly murdered if she had been a faithful, like Communications Scientist Yin from series 3. Agree Series 3 was awful, Yin and Kaz would have been fantastic in the latter half. Instead we got bully shout people down Leanne and Jake “doctors murder by night” logic.

Jade is a 50/50 choice for me. Rachel has been throwing a lot her way, though Jade hasn’t yet turned on her because she’s done it in a way as Amanda guiding her rather than her own theories, but Jade could turn on Rachel. Equally, I don’t think Jade could turn people on Rachel. I’d probably give it to Roxy. I see Roxy like you do but I think she trusts Rachel and Stephen and has also had heat on her which could make her a good choice for the dagger.

I didn’t mind Leanne or Jake. The interaction between Leanne and Alexander when they were playing badminton not long before the final showed how she was outside of round tables and I don’t actually think she was a bully. Jake wasn’t the one who threw the Shipman accusation at Kas either, that was the teacher whose name I’ve forgotten who came across as a dick but seemed popular amongst the other contestants.

And the apprentice adverts. Are part of the rouse. Would love that to happen. I’m not mentally prepared for 15 weeks of the apprentice yet

How can they not suspect Rachel -controlling dagger chat…

I lost the will to live with The Apprentice some years ago when they gradually merged into an identikit botox’d collective (both sexes).

I will have to rummage around for another series of Traitors from somewhere.

CrushingOnRubies · 21/01/2026 20:07

Why James? Intrigued by that logic

EchoedSilence · 21/01/2026 20:07

Yy Also think that maybe to some peoples ears Rachel’s accent is quite harsh
Fiona got on my nerves from the start found her irritating even more so when she was the secret traitor her murder candidates were extremely random really don’t think ST added anything to the game especially when she was revealed to Rachel & Stephen she was very bossy & combative didn’t strike me as a team player at all.

The ST added something to viewing the show, if not the game play, something to talk about that first week trying to figure out who was the secret traitor.

omg James with the dagger! You can’t predict his behaviour!

I can’t keep up and watch the show so look forward to catching up later
