Ant and Dec so they would be separated at some point. I think people would be very suspicious if their alliance even if they were both faithful.

Bob Mortimer - he was rumoured for S1 so I wonder if he was one of those who couldn’t do the schedule.

Comedians did well in S1 - Nick, Joe and Lucy all got pretty far.

As mentioned on previous thread, Tom Hiddleston has said he’d love to do the show.

Richard Osman said he was asked but turned it down.

If they have to do another one (they really don't, but if they are riding the wave....), I ask that they are proper proper celebs of the calibre mentioned here (eg Stephen Fry as a benchmark for fame). And it doesn't go down the 'who?!' route a la Masked Singer and I'm a Celeb.
(I'll allow one YouTuber for the young 'uns and one rogue 'who?!' for a break-out role - eg a Joe Marler vibe).

I agree about Tom Hiddleston - he seemed a real fan when he was on Graham Norton with Claudia.

Richard Osman said he’d never do it because as a producer he would just hate not having the control, especially is he was a faithful.

I don’t know whether someone like Andy Murray would be good. He can be quite funny.

You need a mix of fields so
presenters: maybe someone like Sara Cox, Zoe Ball, Graham Norton,
Sports: Andy Murray, one of the Lionesses, Sue barker, Ian wright
“Serious” people: Lucy worsley, Clive Myrie, Kirsty Wark
Actors: Tom Hiddleston, Matt Smith, Helen Mirren, inevitably someone from Eastenders.
Comedy: French and Saunders (although I think any pairs are likely to be voted out quickly), Dara O Briain, James Acaster, Bob Mortimer.

Claudia was pretty adamant she wouldn’t be involved if the Celebs weren’t “right”.

It’s been reported that there were about a dozen other “proper” celebs who wanted to do S1 but couldn’t due to scheduling, so imagine they are top of the list for the next series.

There are a lot of heavy weight retired sports stars who might be good value - Kelly Holmes or Jessica Ennis Hill, Matthew Pinsent, Helen Glover, Judy Murray might be fun as well.

I wonder if now that the first series was such a hit. , more celebs are up for it ?

A bit like the Jungle ... though I have to say ,, that is dying a death a bit !

Can’t abide Dawn French on her Insta but Louis Theroux is a great shout.

As I mentioned on the previous thread I really couldn’t stand Stephen Fry, Clare Balding and Jonathan Ross on the first Celebrity series. But maybe having people I can’t stand like Dawn French, Tom Hiddlestone and Robbie Williams wouldn’t matter - if we can witness them being thrown out. Some super famous or A list people like Michelle O’Bama, Michael Fassbender and Cillian Murphy seem a bit optimistic?

My preference (some also mentioned before) of ones I like: Bob Mortimer , Esme, Harry Hill, Jack Dee, Adele, Keith Brymer, Judy Dench, Stormzy, Tom Basden (would be so good), Sharon Horgan, Daley Thompson, Jools Holland. I guess I’m not so good on younger people….
