Welcome to Thread 8 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

Jessie, James and Adam are the potential murder candidates, but both Jessie and James have shields.

I can well imagine how the game gets to you.
As Sam said, you go in with the best intentions but what we don't experience is the amount of pressure they're under.
You might think it's obvious that so-and-so is 100% a Traitor, but how do you convince your fellow contestants to go along with your vote?
As we can see from these threads alone, we each all have a different opinion of this player and that player, and everyone interprets the scenarios in their own way.
So imagine that, but without the hindsight of Uncloaked Chats and 100s of Mumsnetters putting their tuppence in!
I'd like to think I would play a good game but in reality, I would have ran out of that shack last night before you could say "Creepy Cabin" 😆

I didn’t think Fiona was the secret one, so I’d be hopeless I think. I can see how they become convinced by one person as well. Especially if they don’t like them much or think they are acting shifty.

I’ve an absolute antibody towards Rachel though not sure why although imo she comes across as very self important and cold.
Roxy is one of those people who think they are very astute but are the opposite.
Matt I find strange.
I do like F and J, the others haven’t really done anything much - especially E and J.

I think Ellie is a bit clueless as well.

I haven't heard anything of note from her.

Initially she was all about revenge which she didn't manage.

It like people have said- very bland.

Doubt we'll get much from her.

Just because she went to a certain school it isn't proof she will be any good in a game like this.

I jumped just watching the cabin mission last night. I've been on a couple of those live action experiences and hated them both - I'm a pathetic scaredy cat! 😂

I hope Roxy is banished next. She's so certain she's right but has been completely blindsided by Rachel.

I have definitely warmed up to Stephen over the last 2/3 episodes. He's clearly very loyal to Rachel at this stage.

I also think they should have murdered Matt last night. It would have been amusing to see his reaction to their 'deal' being broken!

And I still keep getting James and Jack mixed up.

At least Adam is gone now.

Them 3 just blended into 1 for me.

Her track record suggests far from bland re: E.

Curious to see how she develops & evolves tonight.

I think they murdered Jessie.

Stephen knows he hasn't got much time left.

Either he murders her now and they try and pin it on Matt.

Or he let's her survive and she's got a whole day to try and persuade people to vote for Stephen.

So I think they took the gamble and then are gonna try and get Matt banished.

Also Rachel was starting to stir the pot about Faraaz.

So think he'll come more in the firing line.

Think yesterday episode- the mission was great and fun, but the rest of the episdoe- the drama was quite tame compared to the previous episodes.

But the episode on Fridays always has a really big cliffhanger to keep us interested until next week.

So I think there will be a big reveal at the end- something similar to the seer etc- or a new game mechanism.

What is her track record i really haven't seen much from her?

What has she done in the show that makes you think we'll see more from her and she won't end up like someone like Maz or Adam- didn't see much from them and thought it's because they show up more in the later episodes instead they just get murdered.

She’s really academically very bright & it’s not been obvious so far. Doesn’t always translate to game play but not really apparent at all. Also I think top scholarship winner in past. For those reasons I wonder about her. Will she come alive?

Sorry I like Jessie and think she’s smart. Jade I don’t think has done much or Ellie, just remembered James - he’s middling imo

But that doesn't show he track record in the game.

And in past series also.
The ones that are academically bright with low social skills usually turn off people and get voted off early.

I think doing well academically doesn't necessarily mean we should expect something amazing from her.

She's just keeping her head down.

And as less people are left in the game eventually she's gonna have to get more involved and stop hiding.

Yes, you’re right but some of others more arrogant with their cleverness. She’s def been keeping head down (strategy)? & has the smarts - will she surprise us?

I think she and Jade may have very similar strategies in terms of keeping their heads down.

I’d suspect Ellie might have a stronger social game with her psychology background, but who really knows from the little we’ve seen of both.

I also think Ellie is holding her fire and waiting for the right moment. She's watched Harriet crash and burn.

I agree.

I'm bright academically but I'm autistic and would be absolutely crap on The Traitors.

I'm far too naive and trusting and would think everyone was a Faithful because I take everyone at face value and accept what they tell me.
I get peopled out if I'm stuck with people in close quarters for too long and am shit at small talk. I'd end up trying to find a quiet corner to read a book and wouldn't be able to build friendship groups.

I'd also be rubbish at the physical tasks and a complete gibbering wreck in anything scary like the creepy cottage.

My only hope of winning would be to avoid a banishment if the Faithful thought I was too useless to be a Traitor and to avoid being murdered if the Traitors didn't think I was a threat.

She's running out of time, I don't think she's even on the right track to pull it out in the final.
