Welcome to Thread 8 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)
Harriet (Faithful)

Jessie, James and Adam are the potential murder candidates, but both Jessie and James have shields.

The floor is yours…

Interesting Adam and Sam both thought Roxy was a traitor

peacefulpeach · 15/01/2026 21:15

Alexander - smart as ever. ‘The alliance hasn’t really been tested yet…’ quite

I think the best plan might be to risk murdering Jessie because she's the only one who thinks deeply enough to not assume it's a double bluff. This decision may turn out to be the crux of who wins.

Yes I agree too @MrsLeonFarrell

I wonder how she can afford these. Isn't she a student? Do contestants get a clothes budget?

Aren't students allowed to be rich as well as clever?

Yes, I started off really disliking Rachel but I've started to warm to her. I liked the way she behaved towards Stephen in the Tower tonight. Maybe, as the game gets increasingly stressful, even the Traitors feel the need for a genuine ally and for that to be a two way bond.

I liked Rachel from the beginning, I think she has played a blinding game and kept her cool and managed to remember its a game. It feels like more than the usual number are struggling to remember its a game this year.

They can easily have rich families too.

Murdering Jessie and framing it as a double bluff is high risk, especially considering people don’t seem to be on board with her theory. If Harry had murdered Jaz in S2 then I reckon he’d have been more at risk than he was leaving Jaz there not being listened to and I think the same applies here.

LighthouseLED · 15/01/2026 21:19

“People were quite individual”

Not sure I agree with Alexander on that, given the man merge

It’s like being successful in the Arts:

How do you remember these details of 2 years ago?

Clafoutie · 15/01/2026 21:20

I love Claudia’s shade of lipstick tonight, she looks fabulous, as always!
I know it’s a silly thing, but I keep getting annoyed every time someone does that exaggerated open-mouthed shocked look! I remember this from last time, and now I keep seeing it all the time! Don’t know why it is annoying even, just can’t cope with all the 😮😮 Please close your mouths!

ThePoshUns · 15/01/2026 21:21

I know, I can’t believe how much people are able to remember from previous series.

LighthouseLED · 15/01/2026 21:21

Sam and Ed really do look alike

I don’t know. I think I’m just a bit obsessed with all things Traitors Grin

High risk for Stephen - but would be good for Rachel, and probably worth the risk as people are starting to listen to Jessie and she won't give up. So probably worth it for both of them in the long run if they want to win. And Jessie won't get banished.

I can give it up any time.

WonderfulSmith · 15/01/2026 21:23

I think that the second parchment says about Ellie and Ross, and Roxy and Judy. Revelations to them but the audience don’t really care.

He’s another contender for someone reading the thread.

Or he wasn’t joking when he said he and Ed were twins.

It is high risk but maybe not as risky as leaving Jessie in to spread her theories. She is convincing and if she got Ellie on board and all those young men she teams up with there world be trouble.

I'd murder her tonight and Matthew tomorrow.

If Harry had realised that Jaz was a threat he'd have been murdered. I don't think Jaz got enough support to pin it on Harry even if he'd been murdered.

LighthouseLED · 15/01/2026 21:24

Interesting that Sam is saying Faraaz was on him all the time at the Round Tables - that hasn’t been shown at all
