I liked Alex the best (not a shallow looks-based analysis at all, oh no!).

I very much disliked red-haired Jenny.

Second Alex. My first crush in 20 years...

I very much disliked the hatchet-faced Irish girl.

MegBusset · 11/06/2008 23:08

Kevin definitely the most entertaining, he was hilarious. Had forgotten how entertaining he was until he piped up with the stress ball idea tonight

Lovely Simon the most crushworthy.

Worst: Alex. Two-faced, backstabbing, shallow, bitter, horrible. What do you all see in him?

MegBusset · 11/06/2008 23:09

Out of the girls, Lucinda was the best by a mile (as long as not trying to sell cars).

Worst: Big chin Jenny

Loshad · 11/06/2008 23:12

Certainly wouldn't have chosen cv faker Lee as the winner - had long chats with my teenagers tonight about it, sends out all the wrong messages.
Liked Alex a lot, have I turned into a child snatcher and Simon.
worst Jenny by a country mile

IorekByrnison · 11/06/2008 23:16

Lucinda. She was lovely.

Red-haired Jenny was terrifying. Like Julia Davis in Nighty Night.

greenelizabeth · 11/06/2008 23:18

I didn't like any of them much this year.... But I wanted klurr to win tonight.

Whenever there is a really good female candidate, sralan doesn't pick her.

  1. Miriam Stanley (not in the final, but made it close to the end) then The Badger, then Kristina Grimes, and now klurr, Siralan doesn't pick her.

Why doesn't sir alan pick the strong women?!

He gave a woman the break once, and then bitched about all women when she 'let him down'. But it was his fault for picking the pretty one and not the good one.

sir Alan you're fired

EyeballsintheSky · 11/06/2008 23:20

Loved Lucinda and Raef (swoon @ Raef )

Hated Alex and that little git Kevin. A right whingey pair.

pointydog · 11/06/2008 23:21

lucinda

different, quirky, intelligent

ipanemagirl · 11/06/2008 23:22

I was surprised that Lee won too over Claire but he was a strong candidate in terms of the tasks overall. And he was generally positive and a good team player. Klurr did just irritate SirA so much with her going on with herself however much she improved!

But Lee, and that dinosaur noise! I thought that Roulette overall was pants, so dated. So was surprised they won.

I thought Alex had it in the bag, despite pricey bottle, better ideas and really impressed that bloke who knew his stuff.

And Moany Helene, so negative don't know how she got so far.

miffymum · 11/06/2008 23:25

Couldn't stand Alex - good-looking but so defensive, like a sulky teenager. The two Jennys were both terrifying - imagine being stuck in a lift with them - eek.

I liked Lee and Claire. DP was disgusted that Claire didn't win leading to animated discussion in our house. Agree though that srallan is off women after the Dewberry debacle.

Margaret and Nick are the real stars though.

wessexgirl · 11/06/2008 23:26

I was shocked that Clare didn't make it.

Did he catch THAT bad a cold with Michelle Dewberry in series 2?

To be honest, Kristina from last year beat all of this year's lot into a cocked hat, but she still didn't win.

siralan is sexist, he attacks and faults teh women for characteristics he lets teh lads get away with

sad really

UnquietDad · 11/06/2008 23:30

I imagine Sralan will have a good few PHHW-ojects for him to PHHW-omote.

Swedes · 11/06/2008 23:33

I thought of the four finalists, Lee was the best.

Loshad - About the message to the teenagers. I don't think it was as grim as all that. I think airing Lee being found out has probably discouraged millions of young people from embellishing their CVs. And thinking about it, Lee wasn't claiming to have gained a qualification after his claimed two years at University. So in effect he was claiming to have taken longer to get nothing than he actually did. The CV clearly said qualification not completed. I told my teenage son that it was a shame Lee felt he had to fib, but he clearly did so as he felt embarassed about his lack of education. At least he was a nice chap. Not like that twonk Alex. What a slime ball.

Swedes · 11/06/2008 23:35

I'm still crying about Raef being fired.
I liked Lucinda.

Jenny with the determined chin. What a dreadful woman.

spicemonster · 11/06/2008 23:36

Lee was the nicest of the lot of them. They all liked him. And that is a very important quality. Much as I liked Claire, I found her quite wearing. Lee's puppy dog enthusiasm was much more appealing. And you know he'll stay loyal to suralan.

The Jennies were the stuff of nightmares. Even in that final show they looked like they'd stab you with their eyes

shudder

lucykate · 11/06/2008 23:37

lucinda was my favorite, purely because she was so hilarious to watch

did not like jenny c (red head) at all

paddingtonbear1 · 11/06/2008 23:38

Out of the 4 finalists, I wanted Lee to win. My actual fave was Raef though.
My worst out of the whole series.... toss up between Kevin 'at the age of I had my first Porsche' and Jenny with the red hair.

pointydog · 11/06/2008 23:38

The only trouble is, Lee is unable to talk

Jenny (with the red hair) was a nightmare. Awful woman.

I thought Simon was the most likeable, closely followed by Lee and Claire.

I liked Lucinda too.

miffymum · 11/06/2008 23:41

It's alright Pointydog, Lee doesn't have to talk, he just has to sell.

Twinklemegan · 11/06/2008 23:42

Lucinda was my favourite. She demonstrated to all the other bitches on there that you don't have to behave like that to do well

wessexgirl · 11/06/2008 23:44

There were so many unlikeable candidates that I felt spoilt for choice this year. Jenny Celerier had to fight off Michael and Kevin quite strenuously.

I did like Lee as a person, but I wonder how adaptable he will be as an employee. Think Claire showed herself to be more respondent to advice.

Klurr's voice was incredibly irritating. Such a horrible timbre.
