Here we go with these people most of us have never heard of!

It feels to me that they have whipped through this series at lightning speed. In times gone by, for instance, they would never have had nine contestants in a semi final. Trying to get past Torode as quickly as possible?

I am irrationally annoyed by that lump/bobble on top of Dawn’s head.
I am finding it unbearable and want her knocked out because of it. (Well, that, and her over-confidence! 😝)

Unlike almost everybody else it seems I hate the mass catering challenge. Always the same false jeopardy. I didn't mind the relay thing but loathed the tedious cube challenge which was boring and mostly pointless since an extra 10 minutes when you have already planned what you are going to do itsn't necessarily that big a thing. I do remember that somebody did use it but they were out of the competition soon after so weren't that good anyway.

It started with ‘Mastercheffians’ and somehow or other got shortened to ‘Chuffs’ - who knows when (back in the mists of time) or why. But I quite like it - it’s our equivalent of a secret handshake 🤝

They’ve pinched the relay and the taste test from Masterchef Australia, which is a far superior version of this.

Media reporting Giorgio Locatelli to join Grace in presenting Celebrity MasterChef. So that's Giorgio and Grace on the Celebrity version, Anna and Grace on the civilian show and Matt Tebbutt on The Professionals. I love Giorgio on his shows with Andrew Graham Dixon but I willing to bet that, as an actual top flight working chef of a certain vintage, he isn't a squeaky clean person. I do like him, though.

I love masterchef Australia but they need to stop the back to win ones and get normal people in again.
