Christmas is close, 🎄 we've had minus temperatures for a wee while, and the darker days and sunset by 4pm is with us.

Let Undead Becky continue to bore and annoy us! Let nasty Theo continue to infuriate us! Let the potential child grooming storylines shock us! Let Carl Chuckle Brother continue to shag anything with a pulse! (And hopefully dump Abi!) AND let's get ready for Christmaaaaaaaaaas!!!!!! 🎅❄🎄

I wonder that too. It's not uncommon for mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws to lock horns, not get on, and dislike each other. (More common that the men/son-in-laws not getting on with their mother-in-law I think, which is odd when you think about all of the mother-in-law 'jokes' that many male comedians make...)

However, rubbing an abortion in the face of a woman (who has had one and clearly regretted it, if Eva's note to her 'baby' is to be believed) is a special kind of nasty.

I agree with the pp who said Ma Driscoll is being forced on us, and is in far too many scenes, and she is horrible. Indeed a very unlikeable character. They did this with Lou and Mick. Grim, vile, loathesome couple who were in our face every bloody episode, from the moment they walked in, and the public HATED them, and they were written out quite quickly. Hopefully Ma Driscoll is too!

Also agree Becky is unhinged. Where the heck is she keeping Carla? She appears to be tethered up in a built in wardrobe!

When I see people held hostage like this I always think 'what happens if they need a wee?) Or a 💩 😬

The Gail thing was strange. Why was she speaking so slowly and in an odd accent. I thought I’d come across an alternative kings speech. And the lighting was terrible - she looked like she had a milk moustache.

Yes, the lighting was strange indeed. She did look a bit odd. I'm not saying Gail/Helen Worth looks odd, but the lighting made her look a bit strange. And yes, she was speaking slowly and sounded different. As I said, it was nice to see her though, Suprised the actress came back for the scene to be honest...

I agree. Ma Driscoll, Theo, that little shit Will, Undead Becky, Chuckle Brother Carl... Not a fan of Costello either. And I don't like Hope very much.
