Christmas is close, 🎄 we've had minus temperatures for a wee while, and the darker days and sunset by 4pm is with us.

Let Undead Becky continue to bore and annoy us! Let nasty Theo continue to infuriate us! Let the potential child grooming storylines shock us! Let Carl Chuckle Brother continue to shag anything with a pulse! (And hopefully dump Abi!) AND let's get ready for Christmaaaaaaaaaas!!!!!! 🎅❄🎄

The phone thing (I think):

Costellos burner phone was taken when the young scally (who undead Becky hired) beat him up. At one point he switched it on and it pinged at the cop shop - that’s why they arrested him at his grandmas house. But he’d given it to undead Becky in the meantime so they couldn’t prove it was him. Undead Becky tried to get into the phone, tried guessing passcodes and even trying the face recognition on Costello on one of the visits she made (and didn’t kill him) to his hospital bedside. Last time she visited Costello, she saw mini-Costello in waiting room and got friendly looking at Greece photos but shut the iPad down so mini-Costello had to input passcode which undead Becky memorised. Luckily Costello’s iPhone was same passcode and undead Becky managed to finally get into it and delete all the messages between them. She then took out SIM card and put it down drain, with iPhone separately in bin.

I think..

I have different code things for my phone and laptop and iPad.The Undead would be defeated by me.
At times I almost defeat myself.
Fingers crossed for Supertodd beating Theo at his nasty ways.

I want to know why the fridge in Todd's flat keeps moving.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Kev Webster's brother Carl? I don't think Kit looks like Pete from Gogglebox. (Subjective of course, but I think Carl looks like Pete. I don't think Kit does...)

Funnily enough Pete is related to The Chuckle Brothers. 😁 You can tell too, as he looks a bit like them. And Carl looks like a Chuckle Brother (as has been said on here many times!)

I think its his facial expressions and his eye/eyebrow movements. His hair is very similar too.

I really think there is no similarity apart from dark hair and stubble . The facial features are completely different.

How common is it to have the same passcode between devices, really? I only have my own practice to compare with, and I never considered having them the same. I certainly wouldn't if there was something to hide on my phone and my family had access to the tablet.

I agree. Kit is what I'd call conventionally handsome. Pete from Gogglebox ... isn't... so much.

However, Pete is funny and endearing. His lines and mannerisms make me laugh out loud on Gogglebox, and he seems really nice. So I can see how some women would be attracted to him.

His wife is gorgeous! I don't think he can believe his luck. 😆 He mentions her (Paige) at least 3 times in every episode of Gogglebox.

Does make you wonder if she would be with him if he wasn't quite famous though. Possibly, as he does seem like a nice guy. I wonder how they met? She's not a celebrity, she's an Emergency Services Call Handler.

Pete's only a part time celeb though, he's a roofer and builder. He does seem to think he's punching above his weight with Paige! I can see a slight similarity with Kit but it's mostly the beard and hair, Kit is better looking (sorry Pete).

A roofer and builder is a great catch! I'd like to have a husband who has a whole family of tilers and plumbers and electricians.
Theo is useless. Ed seems to have more or less vanished. I haven't seen Gary for ages. Im hoping for a merry corrie Christmas.

@eggandonion Ed never does any work nowadays, but he was in the Bistro with the rest of the family on Friday. Except Glory. No one knows who looks after Glory.

Yeah, I can't believe Deedee wants to move all the way to Singapore to have more quality time with her daughter, yet she is always in the pub or the local Indian restaurant, and seems to choose to spend her time away from her child.

And of course, DeeDee's work visa, flights, any necessary vaccinations, accommodation, childcare, etc will be sorted out in one say.

She will leave with one medium suitcase, with nothing more than a changing bag for Leila.

Quite how she thinks co-parenting with James is going to work, from the other side of the world, is anyone's guess

And, of course, she is 100% up to date on Singapore law as opposed to UK law.

Looks like Corrie will be interesting this coming week! 65 on Tuesday..and Ken has been there since day one.

Agree with all of this! ^ Typical Corrie exit... Anyone leaving, manages to pack up their entire life in one suitcase, and move instantly out of any home they own, or have as a rental... AND they leave their job, with no notice whatsoever... Something like a solicitor/lawyer often needs 3 months notice to leave...

And yeah, all the vaccinations done (if they're going outside Europe,) and flights and accommodation and childcare has already been sorted, in another country halfway across the world. 🙄

And DeeDee is going to a country where less than half the population speaks English. Why Singapore FGS? Why not London, or Birmingham, or Glasgow or something? Very odd.
