Is anyone watching? I know the reviews aren’t good but I still find it very compelling watching!

I loved the 1st season of this Mai was so good. Will watch the 2nd!

Yes - was just looking for a thread on this. It’s so good! I find it fascinating and quite psychological how they all start reacting to the pressure.

I watched the first season with my 9yo and we loved it. Sparked some really good conversations about the psychology of it all

Not started season 2 yet but I loved season 1, so very excited!

I’m watching it, it is compelling. Find it sad though when someone you are rooting for doesn’t go through, seems so unjust!

I won’t give anything away for anyone who hasn’t watched it yet but oh the comedy. Some of the tasks had me in stitches at the Kip of the people doing them. Especially when they’d confidently put themselves forward for it as they were sure they’d nail it. I’m sure it’s all pressure related with everyone watching and the time ticking down. My favourite thing about it all is the karmic justice when the horrible ones goes out - especially if they’ve been scheming. It is so so interesting to watch. And the sets, just love them.

I absolutely love this show, I can’t fathom the negative reviews. It’s mesmerising!

I'm all up to date now. I love it. A few people I was not sad to see go especially one person in the mingle game ha!

Does anyone know what time the new episodes drop?

We really enjoy it too. I love the psychology of it and getting the ‘baddies’ out.

This season is so much better than the last. I just hope there’s a better final game than season 1.

Really enjoyed the last one(but still have horrid memories of the cookie game, all that tongue action 🤢)
Was pleased to see this finally come back for season two.
Surprised it hasn't had good reviews,i thought the last series was popular.
Only seen the first two episodes but loving it.
Always sad when the ones you like get eliminated 😔 (liking the twins but cant see them staying in)
I remember being disappointed with the winner last time,and one finalist seemed to appear from nowhere so I hope it's not something similar this time,I want to really get behind the winner.

I'm up to where the last 3 teams will find out who made it through on the snakes and ladders game.
Can't say I'm that bothered about any of the remaining players(OK, some we simply just dont know yet!)
This bugged me in the first season,I couldnt root for anyone so therefore didnt really care who won.
I guess though if they was someone in still who had been featured alot that would give it away?
Husband convinced someone was going be inthe final and possibly win based on this until they got eliminated in this ladders game(trying not to give anything away incase someone not watched)

....and after re reading my own post I've realised there still is! Argh would be annoyed if they win

Yes I’m ok with who won. I hope they gave the player that came 5th some money though.

Urgh so difficult to discuss without spoilers! Surely as it’s been on Netflix for 12 hours we can discuss it properly?

I wonder if it was always his intention just to get the tuxedos to prove he could do it and then leave? I am rubbish with names but you know who I mean. I’m not sure I believed the woman who came second with her sudden injury - I think the pressure got too much for her. I was happy with the winner. I liked her saying about family before her paving the way and those who will come after her benefitting from the money. Definitely glad the poker player went out - thought he was a dickhead but almost redeemed himself at the dinner party when encouraging the other bloke to stay in.

I prefer this to the 'real' Squid games tbh.

Yes I do - and I think they replicate it all so well. I missed a couple of the games from last series but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed it. It seems to be mainly British and Americans on it - would like to see other nationalities.

I didn’t really mind who won as long as it wasn’t the poker player. That was weird with the woman in second place flaking out like that.

Yes I thought that too. So much so I came on here to see if anyone felt the same as me. Apparently she did her achilles tendon in. I don't care, I'd have crawled over that finishing line in agony to win that money!

The whole ending was a bit of an anti climax. Literally felt like the production has over run on time or budget. I'd have liked to have see the millionaire poker player fessing up and seen the reactions. Imagine if he had have won. Even him and blonde getting eliminated felt far fetched to me, like how did that happen. It was almost as if it were scripted. Anyone else think that?
