Asha took an overdose, as she has been depressed and low, but she's OK (physically.) Recently been attacked by a horrible racist woman who seems to have got away with it thus far!

Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

Eva is lovely.

Even worse is when they pretend that quite horrible characters are lovely. However vile she is, there is always someone who speaks up or feels sorry for Abi. Last week Jack was moping in the cafe but had to suffer Nina telling him how much Abi loved him. I doubt he gives a monkey's as she is his step mum and she is shagging his uncle.

Eva might seem lovely but I don't trust her.

Eva isn't a new character though, she's a reintroduction. Although her bloke Ben is new and he does seem okay - so far!

I agree Abi is awful. Everyone seems to make excuses for her. I don't know what the excuse for the affair with Carl is. I can't wait for her to find out about James.

I just watched Friday's.
Tracey was the best thing about it.
I feel sorry for Angry Little Kev.
So Carl seems on the verge of leaving? Fingers crossed. I was sure he was being brought in mainly to scam Debs out of her money and property as she deteriorated. All he has accomplished is some dodgy MOTs and shagging Abi, very boring villainy.

I'm seriously looking forward to Abi being dumped.

Carl's bound to scarper with some loot. Poor Debs.

Carl is another character that should have been more rounded but he basically showed up and tried to shag his brother's missus right from the off.

Yes no subtlety in modern Corrie, he was after Abi from the first moment we saw him. No character development, just more shagging.

But thank goodness no more kissing between him and Abi if he buggers off !!

Even the peck on the lips she gave him on Friday was gross ...almost like she was going to swallow him up !

Surely the producers and directors can see ...the kisses are not working !

No one is going to be singing " Save all your kisses for me " to Abi !!🤣🤣😁.

@bizzey I was thinking the same about no more of Carl and Abi’s gross kissing!

But it looks like the writers have forgotten he's going he has changed his mind and he’s staying to con Debbie out of her fortune after all. I love Debbie but the writing for her supposed dementia is hopeless.

Every single scene with Carla is the same, with the flat front door in the background so that Becky can walk through it for the 78th time this week. And say exactly the same lines they’ve said for a month.

The only bits I enjoyed were Kev and his dartboard. (Why couldn’t Tyrone go in and play darts with them, he can get into his own house and Kev’s is identical.)

Fizz 'doing a Mumsnet' and going to stay in a hotel for the night. I'm not sure why she's so stressed tbh. Cassie is happy to help so why not let her.
