Carrying on from the last thread. Smile

Asha took an overdose, as she has been depressed and low, but she's OK (physically.) Recently been attacked by a horrible racist woman who seems to have got away with it thus far!

Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

Changing the subect slightly, did anyone notice Sarah and Kit having a snuggle/hug? (Standing up.) The height disparity was really noticeable! She's 5 foot 1, and Kit - although it says online that he's 6 ft 4, is surely at least 6 ft 6! He towers over everyone! Sarah could barely reach up to get her arms around his neck!

I wish horrible carl and horrible theo would run off together .

That would be perfect

zanahoria · 17/11/2025 22:25

The Trisha Sally stuff in the bistro was utterly bizarre.

Shellingbynight · 17/11/2025 22:28

@SabreIsMyFave yes I thought exactly the same about Sarah and Kit. They should have had them sitting down, the height disparity was so awkward!

I like Todd. But I found those scenes a pain because George and Todd were both made to completely overreact. I know it was supposed to be because of Theo the master puppeteer, but none of it seemed ‘organic’. And any scene with Theo is a scene ruined.

I don’t have a problem with Ben as Ollie’s dad, there looks to be a 20 year age gap.

At least there were no Swains!

Yes it was ridiculous wasn't it. Sally barging over there, and upsetting the children she is supposed to be looking after. And for what? It is not going to change what happened 40 years ago. I suppose it's in character though, thinking of the way she carried on trying to split up Craig and Rosie.

And Craig was about the only decent bloke Rosie ever went out with

I wonder if he is still in Berlin?

Agree with all this. And yes, Todd and George seemed to overreact.

Agree with you (and @zanahoria ) about this too. The scene was bizarre.

And whilst I don't think it's great that Trisha (when in her mid 20s) was having a 'thing' with a 15 year old boy, and it was indeed wrong, it's not Sally's place to start barking at Trisha in public about it on Tim's behalf, in front of hers and Tim's foster children, (and the boy Trisha was with.) And he was clearly a teenager. Why would Trisha, who is now around 60, be with a teenage boy now?!

As someone said earlier, it's Tim's story, and even though it was wrong what happened, Sally is the only one making a massive issue out of it. It's up to Tim if he wants to take it further or do anything about it now. And he clearly hasn't wanted to do this. Although having said that, Tim seemed a bit frosty towards Trisha when she came to the house to confront Sally. So is he suddenly going to decide that it's a problem now?

Then again, why was Tim mooching through Trisha's stuff online?

I think Todd was saying to George what he wanted to say to Theo. That was such a sad scene.

Because they’re trying to highlight the fact that grooming goes on with women as well as men. Reckon this will tie I
with the Will/Megan storyline

Christina has turned into Mother Theresa....which is rather nice.

Love Christina she’s a fab actress

They are but it is becoming a bit message heavy and in this case thoroughly misguided.

Sal was talking to that lad as if he were about eight or nine.

Even she said he was seventeen, which would mean there would be nothing illegal in him having an affair with Trisha even if it was extremely odd.

Freysimo · 18/11/2025 07:46

Now Kit has moved in with Sarah, isn't this the third bloke she's had living there in about two years? Adam and jailbird Damon being previous incumbents. Maybe Damon didn't actually live there, but poor Harry!

zanahoria · 18/11/2025 08:27

It is also the third Harry who has lived there!

Clawdy · 18/11/2025 08:29

Not sure why Theo would be so keen for Todd to lose his job, they will both be struggling for money now.

I thought the same. It was so sad to watch.

Clawdy · 18/11/2025 08:29

Not sure why Theo would be so keen for Todd to lose his job, they will both be struggling for money now.

Because he is controlling and coercive and manipulating Todd's work, friends etc makes him feel powerful
Edit
It also makes Todd easier to manipulate/ keeps him in the relationship if that's all he has left
Pretty common for abusers to alienate their victim from family/ friends

Shellingbynight · 18/11/2025 08:41

@SabreIsMyFave it was me who said it’s Tim’s story. Sally just looked unhinged. I’m not sure how much purpose it serves for Tim personally to change his view, it will just make him miserable. The only ‘purpose’ is for the viewers to see that Tim seeing the light - oh and aren’t the producers clever introducing it along with the Will storyline.

@zanahoria if Craig has any sense he will have stayed in Berlin😆

I agree Todd was saying what he wanted to say to Theo. But it’s poorly storylined, George would surely want to talk to him alone. And the previous night Theo asked Todd if he was okay with him going back to work with Pete. Todd immediately said no. Someone being abused is unlikely to so confidently offer an opinion which was obviously going to be unpopular. The abuse story was done so much better with Charlie Stubbs.

carmak · 18/11/2025 09:33

Todd needs his mum.

Deadringer · 18/11/2025 09:49

Poor Todd. We can only hope that he sees the light and evil Todd returns to get revenge.

Todd used to be a nasty cynical bastard, we need that back

eggandonion · 18/11/2025 11:13

Evil Todd and evil Christina need to gang up. And Gary can sort him once and for all.
I don't watch murder and crime much but like a bit of Gary sorting people out.

I think they are giving her a bit of personality switch as they do not want to miss out on a good actress.

carmak · 18/11/2025 14:41

Are Christina and George an actual couple yet, or just getting there slowly?

I think Todd was saying to George what he wanted to say to Theo. That was such a sad scene.

OMG - I've just watched last night's episode and agree with this 100%. Todd was definitely saying what he wanted to say to Theo. And Theo's comment to him when George left - he's SUCH a hateful character.

Gareth Pierce is playing the role brilliantly - so heartbreaking.

I hope the storyline ends soon and they get rid of Theo - it's heartbreaking seeing Todd going through this abuse. My relative thankfully recently divorced a similar prick after 20 years.
