Asha took an overdose, as she has been depressed and low, but she's OK (physically.) Recently been attacked by a horrible racist woman who seems to have got away with it thus far!

Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

How much do scaffolders earn? 😅 To just be able to go out on a whim and buy, tax and insure a car, would suggest Im definitely in the wrong job!

And poor Hope, receiving those awful messages. I thought that Bethany's words would fall on deaf ears, and I assume that Hope will end up obtaining those pills somehow.

Either that, or Bethany will give her a complete makeover, and she will end up being stunning.

I think they’re both wooden but Lisa is a bit less wooden with Carla. Still has no chemistry with either Carla or Becky though and all this “she’s not my ex” urm she is. Becky is obsessed

I suppose logically we are going to have Hope being bullied.

I was disappointed with the storyline . We already have Asha representing young girl with depression / anxiety/ mental health issues . Hope has always been strong and full of sass taking no prisoners- but now she has to be a victim too .

I would have wagered that the boot would be on the other foot

You and me both! The whole storyline is shite and hasn’t been explained properly at all. Think scriptwriters should realise their audience is mainly older female and probs don’t have a clue how witness protection works ! Lord knows why I’m even bothered I zone out when Lisa and wooden Becky are on !!

Older woman here, the dead mum storyline just totally washes over me, don't have a clue what Costello is all about. I spend my time trying to work out if Becky's hair is real or a rather convincing wig.

lol I agree ! Corrie is trying to cover too many different controversial matters all at once - witness protection, DOmestic abuse, suicide, carer for person with disability, affair, dementia, bullying the list goes on it’s hard to keep up ! As I said some females have been watching corrie since it began hence making them 70+ lord knows how they keep up and yes I appreciate men watch as well but I’m guessing their main target audience are woman

what ever happened to good old funny storylines with true friendship groups like the old days ! God I’m showing my age and I’m 60

I understand witness protection because Corrie did it about 20 years ago.
As a really old person I know there's no way Todd and Theo could live together without Todd spending 6 hours on the toilet and moaning about the pre colonoscopy medication.

Obviously she was pregnant and Costello is the father. It was probably a multiple birth, as we have already had quads and they have to up the ante then I am guessing there at least five kids waiting in Spain being looked after by persons unknown.

Just skimmed through tonight's episode. No spoilers, but Lisa/ Becky/ Betsy took up a large chunk of time.
Guess the new pub landlord family must arrive soon. Not sure if we need new characters rather than improved stories about existing characters 🤔

Strange episode, not much happened at all! Storylines hinted at (my guesses, no spoilers):

~ Continued online bullying of Hope by Ruby
~ Becky going to Spain - yay - hopefully taking Lisa & BetsyLamb
~ Costello creeping round every corner - Kit will sort him
~ Pete the gay builder turning up again to turn Theo into Incredible Hulk green and get very angry
~ George finding out Christina lost him his Stiffy and romance will cool
~ Glenda took a ‘phone call - new owners?
~ Gemma & Bernie carry out revenge on Naomi but it goes tits up as always

It is getting a bit absurd the number of time they talk about blowing Becky's cover.

She has been wondering around her old stomping ground for weeks with only a hoody to hide her.

She’s just awful I can’t stand her. As if Lisa could give up her pension and swan off to Spain. I hope she does though. I hope the house is in Carla’s name only. It was so dull tonight. I still have an awful feeling something is going to happen between Kit and Bethany.

Lisa has her own house. It must be damp after it flooded. I think she's forgotten.
