because i just realised how i watch britain's next top model, and all the other american ones, but only when dh is out. I always switch off as soon as he walks in...as though i have been caught doing something really naughty...

but i am out and proud in my passion for Hollyoaks (although I am 36)

Nagapie - Dog the Bounty Hunter! You should be

Mine's 'Fact of Fiction'

quickdrawmcgraw · 04/06/2008 19:37

I mean fact or fiction

Jodee · 04/06/2008 19:41

2Happy - me too!

Now I wouldn't say exactly I love this, but when DS watches Power Rangers I feel strangely compelled to watch it with him

thebecster · 04/06/2008 19:41

Midsomer murders

I am under 40, otherwise this would be normal. As it is it's a weird deviant act which my DH and I don't tell anyone about. As in:-

Becster (whispers): Midsomer's on.
DH: A new one?
Becster:Yes, brand new. Starts in 10 minutes.
DH: Oooh, lets watch it in bed. Do you want a hot water bottle?
Becster: Oh I love you baby.

It's wrong, I know it. I feel so dirty and perverted.

thebecster · 04/06/2008 19:42

Jodee - I dated a Power Ranger. Now that really was perverted.

LittleMyDancing · 04/06/2008 20:04

thebecster - - we do that too.

it's a slippery slope though - one minute you're watching it in bed with a hottie, next you know you're at remote control swapping parties and watching Midsomer Murders with other people's DHs....

don't say you weren't warned.

mummymusings · 04/06/2008 20:08

neighbours, ive watched it since the beginning! I LOVE Monk, he's just great!

Jodee · 04/06/2008 20:18

thebecster, I hope you keep your dirty little secret hidden from your dc's, you minx! (watching midsomer murders, I mean)

EyeballsintheSky · 04/06/2008 20:31

Hotel Inspector

I love the afternoon crime slot but couldn't get into Poirot or Taggart...

MogTheForgetfulCat · 04/06/2008 20:40

Doctors - got into it when DS1 used to have marathon bf'ing sessions. Could have read War and Peace or similar - but nah!

Also Hollyoaks

lazarou · 04/06/2008 20:43

crimewatch

Raahh · 04/06/2008 20:44

I adore Bargain Hunt. When ds was very little, he wanted to go home once, so he took my hand, fixed me with a glorious blue gaze and said "Us go home, mum mum. Watch Bargain Hunt togella"

Raahh · 04/06/2008 20:54

aaahhhhhh seeker! Ds makes me record 60 minute makeover when he's at school. He's 5. Tis a worry he has already latched on to my saddo viewing habits....

seeker · 04/06/2008 21:30

If one of mine has a day off school I make them do some work - which always includeS "Antique Appreciation" at 12.15!

margoandjerry · 04/06/2008 21:36

Antiques Roadshow. Love it.

PersonalClown · 04/06/2008 21:40

I have a few soooo.....

Maury (especially lie detectors and paternity tests)

Charmed

Those american CCTV ones. Crooks on camera and other such drivel. Usually on Bravo.

The Hills. I'm far too old to like it but I'm hooked. Especially as the new series has just started on MTV.

I'm sure I'll think of more.

Nappyzoneneedsanewname · 04/06/2008 21:40

Friends again and again and again but i also and i say this quietly.... love the good life (its ancient i know but i love it and hunt it out on cable!)

lazarou · 04/06/2008 22:08

I love Friends too. My favourite episode is when they bet the apartment. Drives dh up the wall though.

asicsgirl · 05/06/2008 08:29

i agree with seeker and blame livingtv for everything

does anyone remember mile high? that was our guilty secret, dp and me

misselizabethbennett · 05/06/2008 08:38

Perfect Housewife with Anthea Turner.

Promise you won't tell anyone.

ThinWhiteDuchess · 05/06/2008 09:15

I am a closet Hollyoaks lover. I am 38 years old. I am in all other areas of life considered to be an intelligent woman.

Raahh · 05/06/2008 16:00

twd- do not fear, you are not alone in watching Hollyoaks- i watch it on E4 so i am ahead of everyone else. My son knows that he must NOT DISTURB MUMMY- SHE IS VERY BUSY. I love it, even though i am 36 and would NEVER swan around chester in a bikini. in the middle of winter.

cyteen · 05/06/2008 16:11

Oh god, I've just remembered another one - that Pussycat Dolls reality show I really love it WHY?

BabaYaga · 05/06/2008 16:15

Because they are all so awful... it's compulsive viewing!! Oh dear, I watch most of the things mentioned on here. I think if Living TV did not exist I would spend far more time doing things such as cleaning and erm talking to dh.
