May be great experience for the contestants but I find these rounds boring, especially the Michelin star ones. Chefs train for years for this type of food for a reason.

Exactly. Imagine dropping one of them into a sushi place. Any sushi chef would be well within their rights to be pissed off.

I would find them more interesting if it was food I’d really like to eat but I don’t want a pud with real truffle in it!

I do love the time they go abroad and cook authentic food. Bit scathing about the squid though!

i prefer the admission it isn’t the real customers- Masterchef in town so invite random group of guests.
