Couples meet for just five minutes on a speed date before being matched up by experts, having a fake wedding and embarking on a honeymoon. Stranded on an island, and living in beach huts, they must learn to cope.

Same old type of people tbh. Let's see how it progresses.

Lots of shallow conversations about how they fancy each other after 2 mins of meeting. Yawn.

I'm on ep2 now, still watching. It's very early so they're all on best behaviour. Weddings are boring so I skip.
Can't wait to get to the inevitable drama!

I've just started on episode 1. I like listening to people talk about their lives, and I like people-watching but this, "it's like a cross between Love Island, Married at First Sight and Survivor" feels a bit too much for me.

Gets so much better towards end of ep2 and ep3. I think it has potential. I skipped the wedding bits

Am at the end of episode 1 and I have to say, the island experience looks awful. Especially for the ones wearing gowns.

Why have they dropped 3 episodes already? Annoying.

I agree with that! Perhaps you could start a thread that's at BBC pace? Episode 1 doesn't start until 9pm tonight.

I can't get over the wedding dress situation. I can't imagine being stuck in the same one dress and underwear, that's been worn for two days, and soaked in salt water and sand.

A few minutes in and ... they're so shiny!

You lost me at Davina McCall before you even went onto the description which sounds like my idea of nightmare TV! I appreciate there is a market for it - but anything with DM I swerve!

I’m such an old frump. Here I am watching this show and thinking.. wouldn’t that delicate fabric catch on the splinters of the decking? 😂
