New series of MAFS UK to start Monday, 15th September.

We know it’s not as good as the Aussie version, but we’ll be there for this year’s rabble!

I'd love to know why he split with the mother of his kid. I suspect she didn't want to be stuck on a farm in Wales with a guy who thinks "traditional values" are what women want. Does he mean the burning of women as witches? Only recently allowing us to have bank accounts? How traditional is he talking?

Something doesn’t ring true with Dean’s story. Loosing all that weight by getting in the gym made him a babe magnet that caused him to treat women like shit and so he piled the weight back on and became happy and Mr Nice Guy??? Nope, not buying it.

Is it on for 2 hours again tonight? I do love MAFS but not sure I can commit to two hours a pop!

I think Davide is being pretty patient with his match, they have potential.
Nelly is lovely as is her David Beckham Lite
Grace is brittle and out of her depth. Not sure yet about Ashley.
I like Sarah, she’s a better woman than I am with how she is trying to talk things through with Dean. I don’t think Dean really knows who he is, so just flexes and bends into different personas and weird diversions like singing.

It’s going to clash with the football tonight so I’ll have to catch up afterwards

I go with a theory from an earlier post that slender Dean was as annoying and lacking in charisma and character that he still couldn't get a girlfriend nd hence quit the gym...losing weight does not solve all of life's issues...

Big weight loss / gain doesn’t happen just because you go or don’t go to the gym for a start. It takes huge huge effort and consistent food reduction . He doesn’t want to admit that?

plus the way in the VT he made it sound like he intentionally put a lot of weight back on as it made him happier. No one intentionally makes themselves obese in order to be happier.

The relentless positivity is a front hiding some serious issues I imagine.

Maybe he had surgery and then found he had no-one so put on weight to be loved again 😬

Going to go out on a limb and say I quite like Dean, I think (hope!) there’s a softer side to him that will want to get to know Sarah on a deeper level. Wasn’t a fan of the innuendos though! Sarah’s constant face pulling is a bit annoying for me and I can’t help but thinking “what did you expect?”. You’ve come on a show and said you’re open to something different to your usual type and open to give it a shot no matter what so quit pulling faces at everything he says or does. Agree with others though, I wouldn’t have put them together

I think Ashley seems nice, don’t think he’s done anything wrong apart from maybe put his foot in it a little with a few things he’s said but I don’t understand this obsession with feminism from Grace. I’d say I’m a feminist and passionate about women’s rights but Ashley hasn’t done anything wrong, he just seems caring and wanting to be a good partner. He never said “I will be the sole earner and you must quit your job and be a housewife”, he’s just explained that he’s from a traditional family but that doesn’t set his future in stone

Yes, that's what I think of when I hear Traditional Values.
Similar when they say they want a "homemaker"

I can’t understand why the ‘experts’ persist in choosing such completely incompatible couples.

The whole show would be fascinating with genuine connections… still tuning in though so maybe their drama driven formula works best.

Agree about the bad couples. I think they believe it will make good tv but this is one of the very few shows like this I USED to watch. Not sure now
