We know it’s not as good as the Aussie version, but we’ll be there for this year’s rabble!

Dean, Dean, Dean. You silly dumpling. The more you are yourself, the more Sarah's fanny padlocks itself.

Same tbh

I think a lot of her humour and OTT character will be related to this - along with her hate of being touched. Absence of any family at all...

Yep, I think you're right. I also suspect that she was indulged as a child & never really told "no". Her looks, intelligence and erm, character got her exactly what she wanted and enabled her to say no to what she didn't want.

She seemed surprised that she hasn't found Mr Right but it was clear she knew why, she just couldn't admit it.

I agree. Also it was fine to get keye to be quiet on the safari, or they wouldn't get to see the animals as they'd run away.

Lions and elephants aren't going to stick around when there's a sealion on speed clapping like an idiot.

Edited

🤣 sea lion on speed is the perfect description!

SagaNorenMalmo · 23/09/2025 07:45

Sorry if it’s already been said, but we thought Grace looked like Victoria Beckham.

somethingnewandexciting · 23/09/2025 09:46

I think Grace is a lot but I think it's the same as the Keye - done for deflection. I'm not as bothered by her as some here but I think she underestimated the challenges of the day on her own emotions - she's used to being the clown at work to lighten tensions (whether that is a good idea or not) and I think it hit her this is real and what she thought she could joke through is actually happening with no one putting the breaks on. She clearly has had familial issues that we will no doubt discover. As someone who doesn't have parents I can relate to sudden feelings of overwhelm when serious life events happen, that no one is there to celebrate or stop you doing the wrong thing.
Yes Beckham and Julia Roberts pp!

Lalgarh · 23/09/2025 10:29

So Stephen and his brothers, plus Nelly's friends when they find out, all collude to not tell Nelly that he has 2 kids.

I'm sure his kids will be totally fine with this

12 minutes… you can do this. 💪 Would you like Dean to rap for you, would that perk you up a bit maybe?

No 😂😂😂😂

beasmithwentworth · 23/09/2025 11:55

Grace looks like so many people doesn’t she?! As well as all of the famous people, she also looks like a clone of suranne jones and a friend of mine.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 23/09/2025 12:30

Watching last night's

Does Grace get any more likeable?? 😬

mumofoneAloneandwell · 23/09/2025 12:33

Ashley seems like he had really put a lot of thought into his 'persona'

Like, its all very 'saying the right thing' 🤢🤢

He is hot though 🤭

Agree with all of that except he's so not hot. 😂 He'll be thinking that uttering, 'breadwinner' sparks a 'hmmm I don't have to work, I'll have this one' from women. Nah mate.

I'm getting Suranne Jones with Grace too. I get the vibe that she's so scared of being hurt or 'getting it wrong' IRL that she's gone down this route in an attempt to force herself into a relationship. Not going to work.

I was expecting to dislike Nelly from her intro but actually think she's one of the nicest now. Didn't like how the producers contrived to make such a big issue of him having children - lots of shots of him looking pensive/embarrassed etc.

Davide [always want to say Davv e day as per Love Island] and Keye, no way. Physical attraction, ONS stand potential only, not a relationship.

Dean - oh dear Dean. Deep seated issues there I suspect. He's quite good looking actually. Wonder whether when he was slimmer he had nothing to blame if girls weren't attracted to him, so he put weight back on for that reason. Not keen on his match either [forgot her name for the moment].

duothea · 23/09/2025 12:54

Grace and her friends all use far too much vocal fry. It's so annoying

mumofoneAloneandwell · 23/09/2025 12:57

@TellingBone youre definitely right in that Ashley is saying breadwinner for the fun of it 😭 - he reminds me of that guy from love is blind uk s1 - the one who said he wants his wife to be a strong independent woman

Ashley is not a provider 😭😭

But his rugby bod, omg!

BlueSkies255 · 23/09/2025 13:04

Just catching up - Grace looks a bit like a cross between Phoebe Waller Bridge and Millie Bobby Brown.. maybe it's just me 🤷🏼‍♀️

ShinyPebble32 · 23/09/2025 13:05

Imagine being in labour and ‘wacky’ Grace comes waltzing in as your midwife - no thank you 😬

JaneJeffer · 23/09/2025 13:07

Grace is like that bloke who was on TFI Friday who looked like everyone

WallaceinAnderland · 23/09/2025 14:43

If you had met your current/most recent partner for the first time at the altar, would you have fancied them immediately?

Going purely off looks as that's all you've got, was it lust at first sight for you?

Yes definitely-I fancied him from the first time we met, stayed fancying him until he died 40+ years later.

No, it took three or four dates at least. He did make me laugh a lot though. Not at him.

OnTheBoardwalk · 23/09/2025 15:28

I love Sarah's facial expressions

She's been very frank hasn't she. The fact he keeps on choosing not to notice them or listen to what she is telling him is putting her off is annoying and a bit disingenuous when he says things like "We're havin' a great time! It's all bantz tho innit!"

Ikeameatballs · 22/09/2025 22:09

I wonder if she has Autism. Her overall emotional responses seem odd, socially awkward and just a bit off.

I think that grace and Dean might have autism

Constantly singing is a vocal stim which I have (although i dont do it around strangers 😭😭)

Ashley seems gay tbh and like he is trying to seem straight by saying all this breadwinner stuff

The closet is glass, sorry
