I haven’t watched any tennis today and just caught up on 135 new posts here, thank you!

What happened with the spectators and Sabalenka’s water bottles? What was her reaction when she lost? How was she being careful in interview?

Strawberries, yoghurt and pasta would be my baby’s ultimate meal. Can I offer it to her and say we are worldly and cultured and it’s part of her exposure to tennis?

Don’t think I’ll get to watch any tennis tomorrow either 🙁. I will make sure I am watching the singles finals on Saturday and Sunday though. Can’t remember if it was raah or rararachael who said they’re retired, your comment has made me really look forward to adult kids and retirement! Not that I’m wishing the time away, just a future to look forward to.

Shame for Joe but Centre Court singing Happy Birthday to Sem's dad was brilliant! Wouldn't have got that if the presentation took place in the Royal Box!

Of course John is happy! Who the hell wants to be within 20 feet of AC, let alone in a small confined space for hours on end!

It's me who has retired @BakeOffRewatch although I taught in Scotland so we'd usually broken up by the time Wimbledon started but not always.
It's nice now I know I can watch as much as I like as OH is still working 😃

I stopped working full time when pg with dd2 - all sorts happened , I never went back. That was nearly 15 year ago. I think RaraRachael (?) might be retired.

A couple of spectators passed out, and Aryna was the first to send water bottles to help We are convinced the players have a sideline selling merchandise. Iga definitely keeps nicking towels- although today she only took one, after Clare pointed it out to everyone .

I googled that @Raahh and got one X/Twitter result that said Iga had been fined £50k for stealing towels - I’m guessing that’s fake news! One of the news portal results said that she has 10+ friends and family who all want a towel, so her spend could go into £100s!

I want one of the strawberry plushies that sits on the desk but all sold out. Maybe our mate Iga can sort me out.

I got lucky in the official resale and managed to get last minute tickets to the men’s semifinals tomorrow! Shockingly good seats, I think they must be returned debentures. It’s a shame I’ll have to watch Djokovic, but I’m going with an Italian so we will cheer loudly for Jannik.

Wow have a great time Ice - one of our neighbours gets free Wimbledon tickets through his work and is going tomorrow - I’m obviously in the wrong job and if he wasn’t such a nice man I would really dislike him!

kiosk on site but I got my tickets through the online resale, which is only open to people who applied in the main ballot but were unsuccessful. There’s a lot of competition for tickets but it’s usually possible to get some if you persevere.

Hmm, I think my seats are right above where the players enter the court so I might be able to arrange an accident with a champagne cork

Currently having a bag dilemma because my designated packhorse husband isn’t coming this time. We took a cool bag last week but it’s a pain to lug around.

I have not very good seats up in the rafters but at least will get total shade. Am taking my ancient mother, so main priority is not having a funny turn
