I do too- I think , had the match been on an outside court with an Italian bunch watching- Ben would have just got annoyed and Lorenzo would probably have won. I feel there were more Americans in the No1 court .

Mirra is also going to be coaching Conchita for her invitation doubles matches. Mirra is looking forward to getting her own back! She is very funny.

I’n definitely not saying everyone should like him, I’m just intrigued as this is the first time I’ve come across Djokovic hate! I’ve seen the take down of British tennis stars in the press, like Henman, Murray, but not Djokovic but this is my first time joining a discussion online. I thought it was generally agreed that Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest male tennis players of all time - by number of titles, total prize money, his style of play and his life long dedication. And he’s still going.

I loved watching that match, thought what Mirra said about constantly imagining she was a point down and losing to stay focused and less nervous was really interesting. Yes there seems there’s a real warmth and affection between Mirra and Conchita.

I am so pissed off with the iPlayer coverage. I had hoped that I would be able to work my way through selected matches all day, but no! I am half way through watching one match when they chip in and tell me the result of the match I was looking forward to watching on catchup later. Grrr ......

@IceandIndigo I totally agree with you about Novak. Tbh Rafa was the only one of the big four I really liked.

Joe Salisbury, I am glad to say (he's one of the Brits I do like ) is through to the next round in the men's doubles and the mixed. Neal Skupski lost in the mixed though.

I agree with everything that Ice and Raahh have said about Djokovic - for me it’s not just about the number of titles or the fact that he’s still around - I don’t like his gamesmanship, pretending that he’s injured when he’s not, his insincerity or his style of play

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though and if other people like him that’s fair enough

No, I can't see this going to 5. I love watching Grigor- but I don't think he has it in him to go the distance with Jannik.
