I think everyone should be there and Eurovision be A political. It should be about the song. But it doesn't quite work with Russia banned. I'm not commenting further on politics tonight.

She's singing well thus far

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 17/05/2025 20:34

Great voice, lovely staging but meh-ish.

Pebbles16 · 17/05/2025 20:34

Charmeleon33 · 17/05/2025 20:32

She’s also a brilliant singer. She shouldn’t be there, but she’s good.

No she shouldn't. But she's good. Russia is excluded, to me Israel should be excluded as well. Not a comment on her though

OublietteBravo · 17/05/2025 20:34

She’s hiding in the chandelier to avoid the plumbing disaster!

CrystalSingerFan · 17/05/2025 20:34

Israel: Is that the tower of Babel?

Lookforthefairfolk · 17/05/2025 20:35

Is there a way to vote for free from UK?

Firstshoes · 17/05/2025 20:35

Barney16 · 17/05/2025 20:30

Estonia for the win.

Totally agree. 100% Eurovision. Getting my vote!

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · 17/05/2025 20:35

She had a beautiful voice, but the song was dour.

Binglebong · 17/05/2025 20:35

She bought the entire swarovski store.

CrushingOnRubies · 17/05/2025 20:35

I do like the sentiment of Israel’s lyrics

memoriesofamiga · 17/05/2025 20:35

Boring song by Israel. But will do well because politics

Outrageistheopiateofthemasses · 17/05/2025 20:35

Pebbles16 · 17/05/2025 20:34

No she shouldn't. But she's good. Russia is excluded, to me Israel should be excluded as well. Not a comment on her though

Oh wow! I hadn't realised (Nova). So glad she survived and appears to be thriving.
But ultimately I agree with both of you.

Pascha · 17/05/2025 20:35

The Morticia Addams dress isn't winning me over

ArtTheClown · 17/05/2025 20:36

I never really like the ballady ones.

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 17/05/2025 20:36

Great voice, meh song. Mixed reaction.

Wish the competition stayed non-political, it’s really not fair on the singers.

Vibgyor · 17/05/2025 20:36

She was a heavy breather

newrubylane · 17/05/2025 20:36

The staging was so pretty but that was dull.

SweetBaklava · 17/05/2025 20:37

Here comes junior Radiohead

Binglebong · 17/05/2025 20:37

Getting a bob Geldof look from the singer then.

Raahh · 17/05/2025 20:37

I liked this one Grin

Pancakeflipper · 17/05/2025 20:37

Oooh curtains haircut. Stone Roses do Eurovision.

EdithBond · 17/05/2025 20:37

That Israel song was rubbish. Left me cold. Not a fan of power ballads.

the80sweregreat · 17/05/2025 20:37

A guitar led band up with a 90s hair do for the lead singer. It’s very moody , radio head ish

QueenOfThorns · 17/05/2025 20:37

Lookforthefairfolk · 17/05/2025 20:35

Is there a way to vote for free from UK?

On the app, I think

Clafoutie · 17/05/2025 20:37

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · 17/05/2025 20:35

She had a beautiful voice, but the song was dour.

To be fair to her, an upbeat, in your face, jubilant number would hardly have struck the right note. I imagine she was trying for meaningful/reflective.
