Oh thanks for this! That’s my evening sorted Smile

ageingdisgracefully · 02/04/2025 14:44

Is this the one with Keith Barron as a taxi driver? If it is, thanks - I'd forgotten what it was called. Saw it first time round!

VanillaImpulse · 02/04/2025 14:50

I remember this, would’ve been 11 at the time! Thanks for the heads up. I missed Letter to Brehnev (80s Britain film) on Sunday so must make sure I don’t miss this one

PrincessofEuphrania · 02/04/2025 14:55

Fab. Reece Dinsdale was a crush of mine back in day! This has an excellent cast. I didn’t see it first time round. Thanks for the heads up.

CheesyRaver · 02/04/2025 15:02

I watched this too - I've just worked out I was 15 too, tv wasn't censored in our house 😂

SabreIsMyFave · 02/04/2025 15:04

What an excellent show that was. Haven't seen it for many years. Thanks for the heads-up! Didn't realise it was only 3 episodes! I remember it as being 6.

PullTheBricksDown · 02/04/2025 15:28

Cheers, have never seen this but love 80s TV

The Christmas special of Home to Roost was one of the very best but never gets in to those best Christmas specials TV charts that Channel 5 does

Do you have to watch it live or will it be on iplayer?

Middlemarch123 · 02/04/2025 19:29

Thank you so much @JenniferBooth , I missed this on my planner, so am recording to binge at the weekend. Saw it years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, so much appreciated for the heads up.

StMarie4me · 02/04/2025 19:29

One of my all time favourites. Fabulous TV.

Oh good.Thanks for this.

PrincessofEuphrania · 03/04/2025 06:43

Thank you so much for posting Home to Roost. I shall enjoy watching that later today. What a treat!!

1975wasthebest · 03/04/2025 07:41

One of the best TV dramas from back then - a simple story, powerfully told. Even now, the sex scene is pretty shocking (to me anyway and I’m no prude).

PrincessofEuphrania · 04/04/2025 21:02

I watched the Home to Roost Christmas special and thoroughly enjoyed it. John Thaw, Reece Dinsdale and Sheree Hewson made a brilliant cast. I love 80’s tv. Looking forward to watching Take me Home.

TobiasForgesContactLense · 04/04/2025 21:05

Tempting to watch this again (saw it first time round) just to shout at the tv what has changed from when it was filmed. It is has been all over the Telford Facebook groups this week.
