I still think my highlight/lowlight of this series so far was the AI versions of Lord Sugar, Karen and Tim performing an incredibly embarrassing version of Tiesto's 'Business'! My husband, who usually avoids the show like the plague, caught that part and was horrified!
I agree that the treats are getting worse, I keep expecting Lord Sugar to announce that the winning team will be rewarded by getting to wash his cars or do his ironing!
This series has been special as I have a six-week old baby so I've been mostly watching it with her lying on me while I give her a running commentary about what I thin k about proceedings, which I'm sure she finds fascinating!

I read that the guy with the distinctive eyes (who Lord Sugar appointed to be next week's PM) resigned. Apparently he made an ill-informed remark earlier in the process, but said that his decision to quit wasn't related to that?

Nadia was much more likeable on You're Hired/Fired. But that task was an absolute shit show. I do wonder if she set out to be a character everyone loves to hate à la Katie Hopkins? Surely nobody is that dense are they?

Tbf that was one of the easier tasks. And they managed to make a loss :/

This is England. We eat spuds, all varieties cooked in every conceivable way. Anyone who can't make money serving potato, one of the cheapest ingredients to be found, should be laughed off the stage. And beef sausages? Wrong.

Beef sausage s could be because of those involved who don't eat pork. Same reason the pizza has a meat ball on it rather than the very popular choice of bacon/peperoni l.

Something involving chips seems like an obvious choice. Dirty fries or a spice bag (i think they've hit parts of London now.) Seems odd they didn't consider chips doesn't it - which would make you think why. And I suspect the answer isn't that they are all stupid but because they couldn't.

Did the pizza team offer veggie pizza - I can’t remember. My mouth was on the floor too much with Nadia to be able to concentrate on the other team! She really did deserve to go.

Agree - I think chips would need to be done fresh on the day, you couldn't get much done in advance, and you'd need the specific equipment.

No veggie or vegan option from either team.

I wonder if they were limited in the additional ingredients they could buy. The obvious thing for the bangers and mash team would have been to buy half vegan sausages, half meat - covering both bases and cutting costs. The pizza team could have got an alternative topping, say, mushrooms.

In theory Nadia's team could have offered mash and cabbage (I think you call that 'colcannon mash' if it's mixed together) and the pizza team could have offered margheritas leaving off the meatballs (for a slightly reduced price) - again, you wonder if there was a behind the scenes rule saying they could only offer one version of their dish.

I increasingly think that, with the tasks, they're just set up to fail. Of course a small group of people can't produce the amount of bruschetta tomato base, by hand, to the specification a restaurant like Zizzi would want. Ridiculous!

I've just caught up. God Nadia was awful. So bloody contemptuous of everyone else in the team!
