Yes, started and finished it.

Just started it. Halfway through the first episode. Heard good things about it

I'm 75% through episode 1 (not child appropriate at all so had to pause when kids appeared).

Good so far, gruesome though with one scene in particular that I think a few people would expect a trigger warning for.

We have blitzed it. Started last night and already on episode 5. Very much enjoying it!

Just finished this. Enjoyed it a lot.
Wish it had more episodes, felt like the last episode was very abrupt.

Something similar I can recommend is Godless on Netflix.

I watched it all in a day. Very violent but I did enjoy it.

It's a bit hard trying to make out which beard is which but you get there eventually !

Same, it took me a while to work out who was who

Watching the second episode and really like it, very brutal, life was very hard back then

I am on episode 5 and am really enjoying it. Very violent though and some of it I literally cannot watch. I was just telling someone at work today how brutal life is depicted in this but it's very well made with some great acting.

Taylor Kitsch who plays Isaac reminds me so much of Keanu Reeves, very good looking under all that hair and dirt, he was Riggins in Friday Night Lights if anyone watched that

It is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm reading up about the background.

Very brutal storyline, reflective of the times. Wizzed through all the episodes over a couple of nights.
There seems very little worth watching at the moment, at the very time the U.K. weather results in a lot of us needing entertainment.
We are now watching the Miniaturist so far very intriguing…

Binged it when it first came out, absolutely brilliant.

What's that on, is the adaption of the book?

Started and finished and absolutely loved it. Surprised that it got such a low critic rating on rotten tomatoes - think they’ve missed the mark on this one.

I loved this, really winced at some of the violent scenes. What a time to live in. Reminded me a bit of The English. Also 1843, of course.

It has Anya Taylor-Joy as Pettronella, we thought she was
brilliant in The Queens Gambit.

Im still getting there. We should create an additional spoilers thread! I wish it wasn’t quite so violent as I’m enjoying the story. Far too depressing if you think about it too much.

Just finished - feeling like it was so good but also distraught at the awfulness of it.

I loved Godless too which was definitely less brutal.

@mizu I watched Godless a few months ago and really enjoyed it and yes considerably less violent

1883 is a tamer version of this.
