Loved it.. enjoyed seeing Tig from Sons of Anarchy play the evil Mormon leader

Finished it in two nights

Watched it over 2 nights last week, absolutely loved it.

I attended the Mormon church for some years before reading up on it years later and finding out the real stories.

The LDS church puts its own spin on the Mountain Meadows Massacre which is depicted here with the masked riders, so it's good to see a more truthful version of the events in this show,although it is partly fictional too and does get a few facts partially incorrect.

I also loved Godless which I watched a few years ago, and yes there are definitely similarities to 1883 in parts.

I’ve got the last episode to watch. It’s a stressful watch. Won’t be sorry when I’ve finished it.

Gripping but at times a difficult watch, would recommend.

We have just finished it. Thought it was excellent. It gets 8.1 on INDB which is a good enough score for us.

I find the whole Wild West, Native America genre fascinating.

Very brutal in places but great storyline.

I binged it and it was fantastic. Yes, violent, but those times were. Wish I could watch it all over again!

Just finished it. I really enjoyed it but it is shocking. Very emotional last episode
