Final of Strictly... Our first on DOI!!

Can't believe Redgrave went through!!

I didn't really want anybody to go!

I don't like Chelsee or Ferne so I kind of wanted one of them to go... Still gutted for Chelsee though!

I liked her but it sounds as if she's having a tough time. I think she suffered from being ok - not good or bad enough to be memorable

So last week people's votes were split across 6 contestants but this week people only had a choice of 5 to vote for. So if the same number of people vote each week the first out was more like to come from last wee's contestants. And it did.

😀 I LOVED Holly's dress ! I've never liked Holly though 🙄

Steve being saved for another week was bordering on the ridiculous but let's hope next week his costume is better. It couldn't be much worse than tonight's ⛸️

I also like Steven Mulhern but totally get why he isn't popular with many 🙄

Lovely Dan Whiston shouldn't have been in the audience. He should be on the ice like he used to be. He's great!⛸️

I think Holly has become less smug and more relaxed since Stephen Mulhern took over from Phil. I didn't mind her dress.

Wasn't surprised Steve got through, he's an Olympian, he's always going to get the votes.

Don't understand how someone from a game show can be classed as a celebrity, it's the same as the ones from Love Island and Gogglebox.

I like the other skater called Vanessa. Not Vanessa Bauer, Vanessa James. She's a good skater and seems a good pairing with the guy I've never heard of!! She was brilliant with Greg Rutherford last year.

I just wish they would give us more time to get to know the pros and celebs. Strictly allows plenty of time for you to get to know their couples through the VTs and then the interviews afterwards, but with DOI I never feel like I get to know any of them at all so it’s hard to care about anyone you haven’t previously heard of.

ChessieFL I don't watch Strictly but I've often thought that they could spend a few minutes on a 'This is me' type thing with the pro. They could obviously add on previous clips from DOI too.

I think if Greg hadn't been injured last year he and Vanessa would have won. I'd love to see more investment in the show, professionals and so on like you mention.

I know they do the little intro when they first meet but it's hard to remember who they all are. Strictly has its companion show and has time for personalities to come through but DOI just always feels rushed. I think it's because they have to fit so many adverts in

I'm not really interested in the celebs back stories. I simply want to watch them skating and be impressed. Or otherwise ⛸️😀

I think it's been good for a first skate and I still watch the occasional Ray Quinn appearances. Phenomenal and no one has come close since him in all these years.🥳

Having said what I have, I think Strictly goes way too far with the professionals and celebs investment, all the fake romance stories and such like. A bit more wouldn't go amiss on DOI though.

A happy medium yes. Doubt it will happen though. 🙄

I like that there isn't all the filler bits in DOI, it makes it much better. Strictly goes on too much about the journey and the pros relationships with their partners. Too much gushing.

The pros on DOI seem more reserved and the celebrities seem less clingy.

Shame... But at least we won't have Willoughby going "TIPPPEEEEE" all the time!!!

Dan in a cheap suit and Vanessa in a 5 year olds party dress. Just that just screams James Bond.
