I feel quite sad for Macy. It must be hard to be a singer and get voted off before people who can't sing (even though that's not the reason she was voted off).
I read something that someone walked off and refused to come back out to reveal themselves to the audience. I wonder if they had to film the ending separately (after her agent had a word).

I think Maya did well, she got in there first and tried to compliment Macy. Bet the backstage crew had a tough time with her and pleased she's out early.

But her voice is SO recognisable and she didn't hide it . She's already been on it twice elsewhere it's not like it was her one chance

Macy has done other masked shows, so why didn't she try and hide her voice, she knew the risks of being guessed

It's hard to keep up with the thread and the programme at the same time! Need to read back now.

Because Macy was in a nark we didn't get told nothing about the clues.

But that's the risk people with distinctive voices (who are actual singers) will take. It's different for the actors/comedians whatever. We aren't used to their singing voice.

But Macy Gray/ Sophie Ellis Bextor/Dionne Warwick - they are so distinctive. it's hard to disguise.

It must have been hard for her to come back on after her strop.
It just created a really awkward and uncomfortable situation which they did well to cover up with humour.
They all seemed like they were walking on egg shells though. Afraid of saying the wrong thing.

It might not have been a strop, though- maybe they do things differently on the other versions of the show she's been on. Maybe more a misunderstanding?
