I agree that another ' who dunnit ' is lazy writing and I suppose Cindy will be in a coma now till Feb!
She'll survive though and be up and about by Easter. She Probably won't remember much either as losing your memory is a handy tool for spinning out the suspense!

I thought it was a white shirt. Was George wearing one on Christmas Day? Then again, he was boxing, so had a shirt. But it could be Gina. He asks her calmly for the keys to the flat.

I'd forgotten Jack(andJack) was suspended too!

I think George and the blood on the shirt is a red herring. It was probably from when he was hitting the punch bag. Anna washing her hands is probably a red herring too.

Surely it's too early to have decent clues, Arthurs is going to have to arrest everyone in rotation and fail to find the attacker anyway.

I'm not sure about Ravi, he comes across as a bit predatory in his pursuing of Denise. (Much as I usually like Ravi.)

What is Nigel up to. I'm not convinced he's going to be a lot of 'help' to Phil. I hope he has a bath and a shave in the next couple of days!

Yes, Niger definitely needs a shave. He looks like he's auditioning for the part of Father Christmas with that white beard 🎅

I'm so tired of chris clenshaws tactics of just copying what he's seen on classic eastenders. It's enough!

Love cindy but think her being hit over the head was overkill - doesn't anyone care who did it?

I hate the whodunnit thing, they always go on way too long and I don't care by the end. I actually don't really care now and I actually really like Cindy (as a character, obviously she's an awful person 😄)

Why did they all jump to "she's been attacked" ? It was snowing , icy , she had on heeled shoes . If you found someone sprawled on the path would you not think "She's slipped and face-planted the pavement" then maybe suspect foul play seeing the head damage (though that could be a fall too)

George can explain his stint in the Gym , there would be alarms if not cameras .

My money is still on Bobby , he'd whack her for wearing the fur coat if nothing else ( IIRC he;s vegetarian or vegan due to his beliefs )

I recognised him straight away despite how different he looks. Maybe the voice or the eyes? I dunno but despite not knowing he was coming back I knew straight away.

The thing is I don't think anyone likes Cindy enough to care who hit her, especially for them to drag it out until February. The reason people cared about knowing who killed out of the 6, is because they were all likeable (main) characters. I agree, they've really ruined George's character. I always thought he was honourable but this has really brought the worst out in him.
It's so annoying they write these stories that grab your attention and then just execute it badly. I was so invested yesterday but today's has totally ruined it. Just like last year, I was invested in the 6 and then the whole thing became a comedy.

Maybe it was Max? Lauren called him up about Cindy and he just lost it ?
Although he wouldn't know she would be out alone in the snow etc I suppose.
Arthur's should just arrest all of them ! lol

They should have put up cctv everywhere after last year !

I’m being really dense here, because I just assumed that George shovelled Cinders over the head, went to the gym to let off steam and changed his shirt there, but obviously there is more to it as we have a month or two before a reveal.

How do they all walk so effortlessly in the ice and snow? All those high heels. I’d struggle in my wellies!

Saw Michelle Collins at an event some years ago. She was absolutely stunning, so much prettier than on screen, and amazing figure.

Who is Julia? Do we know Julia? The person sending the womble, I mean Nigel, a text, saying please come home.

Liked the way they all went to the hospital concerned for Cindy, I care whodunit but 7 weeks is a long time to find out.
Couldn't believe George acted like that to Kojo! Completely went off him at that point until I read 80s theory that he did it to protect Anna/Gina- good call! Even so it was horrible to watch him manipulate Kojo.
I guess soap's are often about how good people do bad things when under pressure.

I think Anna looked out of the pub window and saw Cindy lying there, ran down to check on her, turned her over, thought she was dead and that's when George saw her.
Anna went back to The Vic and washed her hands.

I can't see how George could be protecting Anna/Gina? He specifically told Kojo to say that the two of them (George and Kojo) were together at that point in the evening because he doesn't have an abili. But it was a bit dumb, because surely Kojo was with others - Johnny, Elaine - who would know George was not there. Elaine would certainly say George wasn't there as she'd chucked him out.

@70isaLimitNotaTarget Cindy face planted but she was struck on the back of the head, so how would the shovel injury be explained by a 'fall'? Except to complicate things someone had turned her over afterwards (odd she had no facial injury). But no one in EE falls over innocently, they are all attacked. And yet there is still no bloody CCTV.😆

George is acting suspiciously, but they all will I suppose until we know 'the truth '
It'll follow a similar path as ' who killed Lucy'
Hopefully for a shorter period of time though

Also Elaine asking Anna "what are you doing?" whilst she was very obviously washing her hands 🤔
Well, at least I don't think I've ever queried the reason for anyone washing their hands - it's a normal, regular function here at our house 😂

lol, yes that was so weird, do they never wash their hands! And Anna's reply was weird too, you don't have to have a dog 'throw up over you' to require hand washing!

As you say 80s they are all going to be giving it the guilty side eye for weeks now. Actually the only person not acting suspiciously last night was Ian... hmm!

Elaine is very blunt like that isn't she.
Maybe she is suspicious because she is the shovel attacker ? Or thinks Anna should have gone upstairs to wash them or something?

I quite fancy the dim DCI Arthur's , so I don't mind him being around a bit tbh , even if he won't be the one to solve it all going on his previous non efforts over Ken.
No justice for him ..
At least junior is off for a while , I won't miss him around and Cindy will be in the hospital

Hopefully Ian will ditch the awful jumper now and get on with running his pie shop ( into the ground )

I suppose the way Elaine said it made all the difference, it's all in delivery - the accusatory, dramatic ominous tone "what are you doing?" ... 😅

Hmmm...might try that on my DCs today (though I'm more likely to yell - "wash your bloody hands!" 😆)
