Changing the subject slightly. Isn't it odd how all these typically nice/dry/sunny countries like Australia, and Spain have had all the weather we normally have this time of year??? LOADS of rain rain rain. It's horrific in the I'm A Celeb camp. We've not had too much really. And the weather has been OK, and even warm today. With a bit of snow the week before last.

The show clearly still has big viewing figures as it’s still on ITV 1 during prime time viewing for three weeks.

I have been thinking the same about the weather on I'm a Celebrity this year, it's been terrible!

Comparing the way she's coming across to when Vardy was on it, it's a no brainer as to who most people would rather hang out with. She seems grounded , with a core of steel, and as you say, a nice person. Not an egotistical bully with a superiority complex.

Exactly. Coleen is not with Wayne/staying with him for his money. She would do fine without him. (Also, she met him way before he became rich and famous.)

Amazing the shitty things some men do, (and get away with) when they pretty much know their wife won't leave them because of their Catholic faith. No WAY would I have stayed with my DH if he has behaved like Wayne Rooney.

He might have changed recently though, he seemed supportive in the court case unlike Jamie Vardy who swerved the whole thing. And was nice on the after show last week. Maybe he grew up.

I will admit to having a certain soft spot for him after he managed my football team's local not-rivals so badly they got relegated. Which allowed me to laugh at my season ticket holding sister for weeks.

Speaking as a divorced Catholic, there's more of us around than you think. Divorce isn't seen the same way as it used to be in previous generations (my parents are divorced catholics too). Caveat this by saying this is my experience in the South of England, appreciate it's not the same everywhere.

If Coleen had left she would have been entitled to a very decent lifestyle, so it's unfair in my eyes to say she stayed 'for the money'.

I don't think Coleen stayed in her marriage for the money. She was thinking of her children, and wanted to keep her family together.
Also she's been with him for most of her life, sunk cost fallacy probably plays a part too
