Mind you, when I watched the documentary about him I ended up feeling very twitchy, everything in his house is white, I would be terrified of spilling something, and I probably would, so if I was invited round I would only be able to have water……….

I was out most of yesterday, so missed the tennis - but well done to the Dutch team for backing up the results over the Spanish and making the final.

The Italians have a trickier time against the Aussies today- I'm still expecting Italy to make the final, but what do I know?
(And given some of the odd decisions made - especially in the doubles, they might throw it all away play a completely random rubber.

(The US team have been criticised pretty much every where for their decision- I think anyone with even a passing knowledge of the game thought 'wtf??!')

I didn't see any of the tennis yesterday either Raahh - I prefer daytime tennis so that I can watch in peace - went to see Gladiator II (meh - I'm more of a Downton Abbey person!) - well done to the Netherlands

Not sure what time the matches are on today ( Davis Cup website is not very helpful!) but if it's a similar time to yesterday I'll probably not get to see them - I think Italy will win the whole thing but who knows?

I assume Bob Bryan is still saying that he made the right decision about the doubles but I don't think he really believes that (and it wasn't the right decision!)

Italy vs Australia is on now. Matteo vs Kokk. Normally I’d be rooting for Matteo but if he wins that makes the rest of the tie a foregone conclusion (as everyone expects Jannik to beat AdM), so I’m hoping Kokk wins and it comes down to the doubles.

Didn’t watch yesterday but well done to the Dutch. I believe it’s the first time they’ve made the final. It would have been a shame if they’d ended Rafa’s career only to lose in the next round.

I've just turned on now. Ice I agree that the final could be very one sided if it's Italy V the Netherlands- although the Dutch have done well for themselves this week.

Yes I couldn't quite figure out where, but someone opened some curtains (I think up at the top tier- probably. It must have let some light in and disturbed one of the players!).
