Child maintenance is based on paternity, dad pays even if not adopted or parents together. Martin's veg stall must be making a mint. What a dim donut that man is.

Arthur is Kush's child biologically. Martin never adopted Lily, but she calls him Dad, and he has always helped out with her. I am not sure he and Stacey bother with anything formal like CMS. He just bungs her a few quid when he has it, for all the random children in the house, only Hope is actually his.

I wish they'd just put Stacey and Martin together once and for all. They'd actually make a nice family. Not keen on Martin's acting at the moment, he just seems bored.

As for Cindy, George won't go running to her even after she spilled the beans on what Elaine was doing. She's achieved nothing because she willingly took part in Elaine's plan so she is no better.

Yes I thought it was so well done. i think people forget what it was like back then. It was good that they drew attention to it. The age of consent was 21 up until 1994, it only equalised to 16 in 2001(which doesn't feel that long ago). I remember the advert for aids that was mentioned.
