Those tops on liquid paracetamol is hard for some adults to take off , so Ruby must have left it unopened and within his reach ? Poor soul and he already has liver problems too.
Martin seems to be phoning his part in atm and not very engaged with the others. He looks bored !

Kathy was nice with Lauren , most people don't like her much.

A.N other soap had a storyline where Toyah tested positive on a pregnancy test but sonme cancers secrete HCG the pregnancy hormone.

Bored with the whole Elaine thing

I'm surprised the GP didn't investigate Lauren's symptoms a bit more , but it's probably realistic that you get 10 minutes and that's it ! It's not often they do realism , but that was ( even though actually seeing a GP at my practice is so hard at the moment!)

Elaine seeing Drew again has made her realize you can't trust anyone really. Which is so true.
It was George who bought the pub from the proceeds of his other bar , but Elaine had also done the same with her old business, so it's good she's protecting her half of the assets after years of hard work. Makes sense. Which is something Jean is lacking atm.

Was it me but Elaine actress seemed totally unconvincing which is unusual for her as she's great.
Stupid storyline

Elaine was a bit shell shocked by seeing Drew again I think and Linda's hot and cold reactions to family secrets.
She is a completely unrealistic character. The old head one was much more normal !
George wouldn't even look at her in real life and is better suited to Cindy all round.

I rewatched David wicks and Cindy talk in the pie shop ( the transcript of which is below and was done by blonds) and was put out on the 11th October.
Two things struck me, how good the acting was and what was said was potentially really damaging to both Ian and Elaine.
At least she has admitted out loud she doesn't love Ian or Junior, smitten with J I suppose, but not true love.
I do hope that if and when Ian hears any of this he finally ( finally .. ) dumps her
Ian is annoying and horrible, but he should just do this and not look back.

Cindy only shagged Junior because she couldn't have George. I think George genuinely loves Elaine and if she explained to him about her husband he would have understood.

I hope Cindy doesn't go through with it and I hope she realises that George doesn't want her anymore. I would so love for her to actually tell Elaine that too and then leave them alone.

It's true tho. The ones who query a pre nup - makes you think

Agree her acting wasn’t great in those scenes and normally she is very good, I think it was an absolutely pointless storyline, pretty much a whole episode about the death and relationship of characters we have never seen and don’t care about, I suppose it was highlight Elaine’s trust issues but the Cindy connection to George was enough, we didn’t need some random drag queen to push the point home, watching Cindy chasse’ across the square looking like she has just stepped out of a salon is plenty.

Cindy always looks fabulous. It's done deliberately. That time she gave Jane the eye for wearing a cardigan was very telling .. she likes to be groomed and dress well. Probably because she's always on the look out for a new man much of the time!

It was a bizarre twist.
I agree just Cindy / Rose would be enough without all the drag queen nonsense .

I suppose it gave us a bit of background on Elaine's late husband. I didn't mind the scenes with Drew though.
She is wise to seek out some kind of ' business ' arrangement with George ( in whatever form ) as she needs to protect herself a bit. (Although Phil's many wives haven't done this and seem to do ok when they divorce him.
