That's good timing - just got in from walking the dog in the rain. Didn't spot Rafa.

This should be a good final. Unless Jannik start feeling sick or Carlos gets cramp.

I was surprised to learn this is the biggest final they’ve played against other, I guess they have met in quite a few semi finals.

Yes, I thought they met in the IW final, but of course that was the semi final. It seems the draw has not quite played out so they have met at this stage til now.

Carlos certainly has the edge so far. Beautiful tennis.

This is not quite the scoreline I was expecting. Early days though,

I feel like the match could change a lot if either of them manage to start hitting their first serves!

I am expecting expecting a sudden switch from Jannik. Carlos might get the first set still, but Sinner may get the second.

Oh dear- Jannik has worked hard to get back on track, I hope he isn't injured now.

That turned around fast! I went on a work call and Carlos was well in the lead so Jannik must have really switched gear to take the set.

It’s close Chessie, Jannik improved a bit and Carlos also dropped off a bit. Carlos had a lot of chances to win the set and couldn’t take them.

Just popping by to say "Hi". All well here, but v.v. busy. Have (at last) found a house and will be moving in 3 months time. Sorting out plumbers & new beds & painters etc. Only problem is they all speak French 😁 Very good for me, but quite tiring. Wednesday is my childminding day as no school. So gotta dash.....

Have been away for the weekend so that and trying to work out who is playing where and when has defeated me so not seen any tennis for a while - hope to do better in the future!

I wonder how much the continuing doping stuff will affect Jannik? (although it doesn't seem to have affected his results over the last few months)

I just got very confused as I saw the headline ‘Alcaraz wins Shanghai title’ and thought I had got my tournaments very mixed up but when I read it discovered it’s just predictions. Very annoying!

Haven't seen any tennis for a while. Tried to watch Carlos vs Jannik on tennistv but couldn't get it to work Unfortunately, my IT guru is now back at uni! Saw a few points on insta and the shot-making looked amazing!
