What are these end bits and when did they start?

I really hate missing end bits even though they really annoy me

How Awful is that Sergeant?
Is this the end of Simon? I do hope so boring naff character.

I keep forgetting about the extra bits at the end and just stop watching when the credits start. I actually feel sorry for Steph as that policeman is awful. I suppose he thinks she tried to kill her dad so has form.
Simon has grown on me. I hated his silly jollity and jokiness in the beginning but felt sorry for him when Nicola was so awful. I don't think there's anywhere else for his or the other binman's characters to go.

The extra bits started when Bob took over the King's office (what was the point of this)

some of them tell a lot of story in 1 min. One being in the main show it showed Viv drinking but in the extra bit she threw it down the sink and put her hand on her belly

Wish Toni would bugger off to Costa Rica with Simon and Ivan. Can't stand her strutting about thinking every man fancies her.

This is so emotional. How Emmerdale used to be and it still is sometimes, especially with the Ruby storyline but this is so hard hitting

I totally agree @RaraRachael - the ridiculous stuttering is driving me over the edge. I've taken to muting him every time he's on screen.

Is it just me or did the siege at the Dingles just feel like complete overkill? Also how many more massive arguments can Louise and Dianne have? Ashley pushing Sandy over was horrible too.

I didn't realise the Ashley and Sandy abuse storyline started so early.
I thought it was at least after she had had Arthur.😕

Mind you, now that the gap between Classic and current is closing I'm getting confused with some events 😊

Louise hitting Dianne! Wow. How are they running a business together? I loved Louise at the time (love the actress and her character from home and away back in the distant past), but she is really horrible. She treated Terry like dog muck, she treats Diane like filth and she is really unpleasant.
I also thought the Sandy abuse storylines came later. My mum always disliked Ashley and called him the worst kind of Christian.

I remember Ashley hitting Sandy much later - can't remember if it was a precursor to his dementia story. However I had stopped watching by current Classic stage so maybe it did start earlier.
