Debbie just gifts her baby to Emily, and no one bats an eye? They're quite happy for Sarah to just go with someone unrelated and live the rest of her life away from her family? No one in the village questions it, or contacts social services, or the police?

The Emily/Sarah saga does indeed seem to have been forgotten about. One minute the families are racing to find them, then it's like "Oh they must have left on a bus" and it's all forgotten about. I think the Emily actress was pregnant so it gave her a maternity leave opportunity but surely they'd have the police trying to find them.

I'm no fan of Val but that awful pensioner woman is getting on my wick. If she says "Convicted criminal" in that OTT way again I'll throw something at the telly.
