Liver ! I just missed that bit but I still get horrors about school liver and bacon. Full of tubes, dry as cotton wool and God knows what animal they were from.

Ok, I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat liver or fish. I don't like gnocchi or aubergine. I do like spinach, truffle, marmalade and double cream.

Rochenda's dish sounds the business.

Gnocchi with butter, baked in the oven with parmesan and mozzarella is lovely. Bland as owt but comfort food.

Did the school give the impression that it was fattening up its hamsters?

Some people are embracing the brief; others are being a bit evasive.

Tamar's Wellington looks incredible but he's made a crowd-pleasing dish that doesn't meet the brief, whereas I think the likes of Craig and Dom have genuinely tried to do something with an ingredient they dislike.
