Just checked, looks as if it's only on Acorn TV, and a subscription channel. Shame, but guess it will eventually be shown.

I think Pearl and Mike are totally unconvincing as any sort of couple, though great in the detective roles. I really like Pearl's boyfriend Tom and think he is a much better match for her: cheery and non-intense, while also being caring. It puts me right off the whole series.

If they did want to make them convincing they'd need to recast Mike to be older and more attractive (not a fan of the hulk look).

I hope they don't keep doing an on/off with the two of them

Yeah I'm a bit bored by the on/off relationship. Not convinced by them as a couple at all.
