Well, a message was clearly being sent by producers that "respect for woman" was important after the fiasco and sexism of Movie night and lack of respect for the girls (which is basically the whole premise of LI IMO)

They overegged the respect message with this "date" and these men.

Matilada hates Sean but the request for stop calling girls sweets/which sweets they are, shows to me she is going to stick with him for the win and knows what the public dont like about him.

I found watching the ‘date’ really sad with the boys bigging up Uma and her saying it reminded her of who she is - obviously it didn’t!! She seems so unaware of how drop dead gorgeous she is and she has a great personality too. Wil doesn’t deserve her loyal nature.

The date with Reuben and Josh was the worse kind of cringe. Way too much fake excitement and a lot of bollocks about respecting women. Talk about laying it on with a shovel, it just seemed so insincere. God only knows why the producers sent Jessy along. Even she knew she was the bloody wingman. Super weird.

Grace's friend-zoning of Blade was a masterclass. I'm going to have to go back and watch that again. I think she must have done that many times before! I knew she wasn't really interested in him from the moment she recoiled when he asked her to lather him up with suntan lotion in Casa. She brought him back as a trophy, not a boyfriend.

I don't think it is that Konnor isn't a bad boy, I think it is that he isn't assertive. He comes across as passive and too pliable.

I do not understand why Uma is giving Wil a chance. His behaviour at Movie Night was disgraceful. I don't care that it was heated and he might have been on the defensive, it showed a side to him that would make me want to run fast in the opposite direction. Same goes for Matilda and Sean. Bleugh!

She's in it for the money/exposure. She's let her mask slip a few times and I really don't think we're seeing the real Matilda. I'm pretty sure when she went in the public only found Sean cheesy/cringe, rather than disliking him, so perhaps she doesn't realise she hasn't a hope in hell of winning with him.

I mentioned before, but the way she sneered and called him a little rat recently is surely not something that would come from someone that has even an ounce of respect for him. Pretty sure she secretly despises him.

I’m inclined to agree @CellophaneFlower. There have been a few times where she’s sniggered at one of the other girls expense and there was the argument between Harriet and Ciaron that was kickstarted because she insisted Ciaron repeat himself. Also the way she delivers things with a smile on her face must be quite unnerving. I think she knows exactly what she is doing and is an expert manipulator.

There is not a single couple in there I think are genuine, I think Jess has the hots for Hugo but he couldn't be less interested. Matilda despises Sean, Ayo seems too stupid to actually say anything coherent and keeps watching Mimii; Nicole and Ciaron are toxicity itself and the rest have zero going for them! Losing interest to be honest !
