I cannot believe Ayo is flirting with Mimi. What an absolute asshole. He does the irritating “I’m just being true to myself” that’s another way of saying you’re doing what the hell you want irrespective of other peoples’ feelings.

Nicole needs help. She is not ready for a relationship. It’s batshit to be jealous and spiralling over something that happened long before Cieran met her. I agree it’s becoming abusive. She needs to be removed and given professional help.

Nicole and Kieran will not survive outside the villa. Kieran will get so much attention when they leave, and he is only 21 and clearly liked putting it about before the villa. I believe he has genuine feelings for Nicole in the bubble of villa life, but her insane paranoid jealousy will go into overdrive after they leave. She should get some therapy to have a normal reaction to this.
At this stage they do seem to be the only couple with a proper connection and would be my choice to win.

Nicole is beyond help. How is "months" any different to "months and months"? And "we're going through this process for Ciaran to earn my trust". Errr just no. He doesn't need to earn anything, he's done nothing to not warrant your trust! On the outside world she'll needle him, check his phone, give him so much earache when he goes on a lad's night that eventually he'll cheat as he's getting constantly accused of it anyway. Then she'll be smug for 5 mins that her suspicions have been validated, then she'll put him through hell but end up forgiving him for being a naughty boy. Except she'll never let it go and so the cycle will begin again 🙈 I actually can't see why he's so smitten with her anyway. When they're not talking about being 'in love', she's got the arse about something he hasn't even done.

That Matilda and diamante chat really threw me. Matilda's face didn't match what she was saying, she was grinning like The Mask. I find her a bit unnerving actually and think a lot of what we see is fake. I think we saw a bit of the real Matilda during her spat with Diamante.

It’s such a shame as I think she’s a lovely girl but she needs to do a lot of work on herself. She has this idea that Ciaran has to win her trust but what is she doing herself to get over her trust issues? Ciaran didn’t break her trust
and all of this is a lot to put on a young lad.

I hope someone has a quiet word with her be it producers, Jess or her family after she leaves and tells her she needs to work on her insecurities first. If she doesn’t, this will drive Ciaran or any future men away. She is massively stressed and she transfers that energy to Ciaran who gets wound up too.

And when she was grilling him she seems to have missed that the girl said the DM’ing was sporadic. So that obviously means there was gaps in between, not the same as messaging continuously for a few months.

If they are ever in the bottom 3 she’ll probably have a complete meltdown wondering if the public can see something she hasn’t about Ciaran not being honest.

I was just thinking how different Ciaran and men like Will are. Even in the earlier stages, he was always reassuring Nicole even when he had did nothing wrong and she’d shriek at him for something he did in the past or whatever.

Will on the other hand was hostile and pretty much gaslighted Uma when she communicated in a really reasonable manner that she was upset he had kissed another girl in bed. I really hope Uma ditches him.

Nicole is a good friend, but I don't think she should be in a relationship until she's worked through her issues. I'm assuming she'll say every guy she's been with has cheated on her, but that's her own baggage, not Ciarans. We also don't know if she's always been this paranoid, thus driving previous partners to cheat (I know there's no excuse but sometimes being constantly accused really can wear you down) or if they actually cheated at all, seeing as she seems to class somebody sending messages before they'd even met her as some huge breach of trust.

She seems to need to know the ins and outs, literally 😳, of all of his past relationships and anything he hasn't told her yet, probably quite a bit as they've only known each other such a short while, she will class as him keeping it from her.

Poor bloke, he'll never win. I hope he breaks it off as she never will.

This is so true. Why does Ciaron have to earn her trust. He hasn’t done anything to her to make her not trust him. The poor lad is literally tying himself up in knots trying to ensure she is happy. It must be exhausting for him. And she wont ever be satisfied. There will always be something that she is fretting over. Because the issue lies with her and not him. The girl needs therapy to get to the core of her low self esteem. She shouldn’t be on LI.

Yeah Nicole is concerning for her own and Ciarans MH. If she stops and rationalises, I wonder what her actual concern is here. I thought exactly that earlier. Wasn't it in the first episode that he openly admitted to cheating? He has been honest from the start and she uses it against him and constantly makes it look like he's not being fully honest with her.

Yes it's extremely toxic. Whilst it's sad that she has low self esteem and obv needs help , it's too much for a lad like Kieron .
If it was roles reversed then I think the producers would have stepped in to protect her from an abusing man. Plus other islanders would be trying to stop it , but it seems as it's this way round it doesn't count as that's not right. I'm saying that as an ex wife of an abuser. It's the abuse not the sex of the person.

I’m wondering if something happened that we didn’t see but mostly Movie Night is a surprise for the Islanders rather than the viewers.

Was listening to the podcast yesterday and they were discussing whether Jess (new one) is keen to get on the right side of Mim because she’s so popular with viewers. Like others have said, I wish we could vote for Mimi and Umar.
