Idk how old Joey was on the clip posted upthread but he was much too young to have a relationship played out in front of the world. I never watched TOWIE so I didn’t know who he is. It’s not surprising he’s learned to ‘act’. You can see him watching himself rather than just being him when he sits in the chair in that room, where the participants debrief and chat to the camera. Hard to be natural when you’ve had cameras in your face.

Joey is trying to further extend his fifteen minutes. He is a reality veteran ( that is his full time job) and has to earn his keep .

I got the impression that his “confusion” was damage limitation for Grace. But then when he had the chat with her and she said that now she considers herself open and she would be getting to know other guys that’s when he decided to go back to Jessy and give her the green light.

I don’t know how much of this is manufactured by the producers but it certainly doesn’t sit right having a reality tv veteran trample over multiple girls feeling like this. What a shit show!

Pretty sure Joey would have known Grace was going in, she was rumoured/announced before the show started. I think he was waiting for her to come in.

But I don't think they've been secretly in a relationship this whole time since their first fling, plotting this storyline in Love Island. Some of the conspiracy theories are a bit much.

Checking in, 12 hours late as always! I'm loving this series, but possibly because I'm actually watching it while I'm trapped under a newborn, instead of glancing at it while I doom-scroll.

Thoughts:

• When Harriet was crying at the start and said 'where's Nicole?' affronted that she hadn't come to comfort her, I'm surprised she didn't notice that neither had her precious Ronnie. That said, kudos to him for his chat with Ciaran.

• Grace is carrying herself with, well, Grace. However if I was her I'd be riding Konnor round the garden like a horse by now.

• Jess is vile. Trey's gone for her for safety as she's single and will ditch at Casa Amor.

• LOLZ at Will dropping himself in it needlessly

• Joey & Jessy are perfect for each other. Each as thick as a submarine window. Agree that Joey seems utterly incapable of not cracking on to a pretty girl, and absolutely baffled as to why that might sometimes upset another pretty girl.

• at someone describing Ronnie as a Dog With Two Dicks below, I've just used that same descriptor about Joey to DH.

Against the grain here but I really like Ronnie 🤣 don't think he has a bad bone in his body.
Wouldn't find him attractive though but think he'd look better with his head shaved.
