I do appreciate that EE probably isn't the pinnacle of an actors career but honestly I do question where they get them from sometimes! Debbie's dad wasn't too bad but the mum? Really?

I noticed that comment she made to Reiss as well. How did she (or anyone for that matter) know he had visited Debbie the day she died? Afterall, he deliberately didn't sign in at the desk and made sure the receptionist didn't see him!

Also struggling with the poor acting of Debbie's parents. The dad couldn't be more laid back sympathetic and understanding. Whilst the mum is super suspicious and desperate to blame Reiss whether it was him or not!

I'm very distracted by the mum's nose as well. From the side angle it is so flat, it almost looks like a boxer's nose that has been flattened due to being broken so many times. Has anyone else noticed this, or just me?

I think Debbie told her Mum she was leaving Reiss and the reasons why so she has insight into his behaviour.

As predicted Reiss thought that Debbie's life insurance policy would mean an immediate stack of cash would be materialising. Good he's very thick isn't he?

She seems to be utterly blind to red flags or justifying/deflecting by pointing out other people's faults.
I don't understand the appeal of Reiss, he is isn't clever, funny, charming or even particularly kind and solid/safe.
They keep ranting on about their dire money situation, but they shouldn't have any IVF debt because they used Debbie's money, the only debts they have are Care home, Debbie's parents and Phil. That sounds like it should be payable out of the life insurance policy. If not enough, Sonya owns the house outright so could bet a loan against it/ mortgage. So it's just everyday outgoings left which should be manageable as they both work. Am I missing something?

i thought Reiss used Phil and Sharon’s money to pay off the care home debts since she is now dead their are no more fees. Eventually the insurance will come in and Phil will be paid.

I think Sharon's money covered some but not all the care home bills. Phil is also not going to get his money in the 2 week time frame.
The funding of Debbie's care makes no sense, surely the money was going to run out at some point (unless Debbie's parents have megabucks). The stealing of some to fund IVF just sped up the inevitable.

Gray selling house. Would Chelsea not be entitled to a share as they are married? Would she also not argue she is entitled to a bigger share as he isn't paying for the upbringing of his child. She is unlikely to be able to buy him out but could get enough to get somewhere smaller or to have a deposit for mortgage.

I am also assuming that Karen would be entitled to a share of proceeds as she has his other 2 kids.
