Am trying to tell myself that Catherine Tate will not be as bad as I fear - it's the one thing that is dampening my excitement at the moment . Someone come and lie to me tell me it will be ok please.

I think Catherine Tate will be okay and quite funny. Will be nice to see a female character not swooning over the Doctor within minutes of meeting him. Should be a different type of relationship going on.

I agree about the swooning, the different dynamic could work - although on the other hand I could always have hoped for a good all-out catfight when Rose comes back.

Rose would kick Martha's ass - would like to have seen that one. They did kind of go down that road when Rose met up with Sarah Jane tho'.
