That was good fun, I'm not a big fan of Donna. Nice to see Rose at the end - is she coming back like the Army of Ghosts did d'you think?

Dull, dull, dull. Why does it always have to be about whether Dr Who wants a girlfriend? That's so bloody Earthbound.

So glad CT has been toned down, far too much screeching in the Christmas episode

It was ok not the great stuff I have watched and no examination of anything too deep at all but the kids liked it and please please lets get rid of CT and bring back Rose. Didnt like the whole I am in love with the doctor stuff of Martha.

I didn't watch it but dd1 shouted me in to look at those little potato man things and they were very cute.

It wasn't the best, but I think the producers are just working on the next generation of viewers ... get the children hooked with nothing too scary .. to begin with

And think of all those adipose toys they can sell next Christmas

Billy Piper appears to have lost a lot of weight, judging by her brief appearance.

It was a disappointment to me. Hope it gets better.

CT did sound like her 'how very dare you' character towards the end...

It was about precisely the opposite, threadworm - Donna isn't going to be that kind of companion. And there are going to be 4 or 5 alien planets this season, starting in ep. 3.

I gathered that Donna and the Dr Who wouldn't be an item but they spent so long establishing that, and so many agonising glances, that the programme was still a girlfriend-boyfriend soap.

It makes me angry because it is yet anther part of the loss of childhood. A lovesick Doctor in my youth would have had us coming out from behind the sofa and throwing things at the screen.
