Raef from The Apprentice - I think he is the epitome of an Adonis!

I just love him. He speaks with an uber-posh, stilted accent which is quite unsettling but once you get use to it, he is rather delicious. I think his personality is beginning to shine through and I suspect he is a very warm, considerate, gentleman.

Last week he said that he could speak with ease to anyone from Prince or Pauper - yep, I reckon he can.

He seems like a nice guy but not my kind of Adonis - he's too neat and nice looking for my taste. I like 'em to look a bit rough!

MadamePlatypus · 03/04/2008 08:39

You must be absolutely mad. Uber posh and stilted - so he speaks like Prince Charles.

PhoebenotBuffay · 03/04/2008 08:41

I agree, he's got something about him but not sure I would call him an Adonis. He's just nice, isn't he?

I also like the other guy who said the laundry operation reminded him of being in the military. He also said nice things about Raef. That guy, can't think of his name, is more my type though nothing at all like my DH who is probably more Raef-esque at least in his mannerisms but not appearance.

beansprout · 03/04/2008 08:45

Do you mean Adonis in the smarmy git sense?

If I had to, I would do Alex but they are all a bit young for my taste. I feel a bit young man just thinking about it!!

Wordsmith · 03/04/2008 08:48

Blimey I think he's vile.

Wordsmith · 03/04/2008 08:48

Raef I mean.

spokette · 03/04/2008 08:49

Raef is very refine and brimming with quiet, understated aplomb. I find that very endearing rather than the boorish, brash cockiness that some of the other men have displayed.

don't watch it but you've clearly gone a little mad

Carmenere · 03/04/2008 08:55

I think that spokette is raef's mother........

spokette · 03/04/2008 08:57

Raef's inner charm supercedes his outward appearance, as it would with anyone. Otherwise, ugly people like me would spend a lifetime on the shelf.

"He has spent two years working abroad; the first in overseas property sales in America and throughout the Caribbean, and the second as a volunteer on Ethiopian charity projects. Raef is a life member of the Exeter University debating society as well as a member of the National Geographic Society. He includes spending time with his girlfriend, acting, lawn tennis, antiquarian book collecting and cognac among his interests."

A man of substance and I bet a fascinating conversationalist.

He has weird hair.

Pollyanna · 03/04/2008 09:02

his eyes are too close together and he needs some layers in his hair.

I think his accent is put on and he really comes from southend.

I prefer Alex

BetteNoir · 03/04/2008 09:02

He should get together with Lucinda.

She says "She once turned down the chance to be a scuba diving body double in a James Bond film because it would have interrupted her university studies".

They can indulge their delusions of grandeur together.

ajandjjmum · 03/04/2008 09:11

He seems very full of himself - but then I suppose you've got to be to go on that programme!

Felt sorry for the girl thrown off last night - she was the one who'd done the work. Think 'Sir Alan' made a mistake there.

MrsDiorKeanuReeves · 03/04/2008 09:15

He needs a hair cut!

I like the ex-Army guy. Bet he's fab in bed .

BetteNoir · 03/04/2008 09:17

DH and I want the ex-army man to win.
For entirely different reasons!

WideWebWitch · 03/04/2008 09:26

I think he's an utter tosser

spokette · 03/04/2008 09:29

They are all delusional about their own abilities but those with inner charm and stoicism are starting to shine through.

I love Simon too (the ex-army guy) and DH and I would actually like him to win. He is very down to earth.

I know that Claire one from when I was working in Majorca- she was a Club 18-30 rep.

TillyScoutsmum · 03/04/2008 09:31

Definately agree about his eyes being too close together -looks a bit freaky. Do actually quite like him though when he doesn't sound like he's swallowed a "w*nk word bingo" dictionary

I can imagine the army guy (Simon Smith) would be a bit of an animal in bed and Alex is delicious (but needs a haircut)

clam · 03/04/2008 10:32

I think he looks like a Thunderbirds puppet. And is a complete a* to boot. I know someone who knew him from school (prep-school, what a ) and he was apparently exactly the same then.

spub · 03/04/2008 21:26

Sorry. 6 words.
Have you seen his fecking hair???????

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Slouchy · 03/04/2008 21:27

I refer you to the Other Thread.
Hair already dealt with

spub · 03/04/2008 21:48

Playmobil hair. Genius. Yet I fear that even that inspired comparator doesn't do full justice to the follicle filled abomination that is Raef's hair. It's almost like a combover of completely non necessary, non layered and epic proportions. AND I'm sure he is wearing make up. Methinks his resemblance to Freddie Mercury is also compellingly carcrashtastic.
He WAS fab the other night and I think we may yet warm to him but his hair is bonkers!!
