I wondered on a previous thread if the prize (designing a homeware range) would influence the result. If it does I could Roisin winning.

I agree. And it’s La Redoute, which is very much her style.

It’s a really weird prize but agree it suits roisin more than Matt. Hopefully he will get some job offers out of this

i I think Ben is unlikely to get work from this as he hasn’t learnt to refine himself as well as roisin has. He needs a mentor

I think Ben has talent but he needs the right client (who wants the style he offers)/a partner to rein him in.

I love Roisin's florals but not always other aspects of her work. But she doesn't actually draw/paint the florals herself usually, does she - just buys in fab wallpaper or fabrics? So not sure how that would work with designing the homeware range.

Matt has style but it's not mine. (I also can't get over how much he looks and sounds like Dylan Llewellyn as Kelby on Beyond Paradise.)

I suppose when you pick a designer to use, you pick one whose style matches your own. If you want the theatrical style that Ben offers, you wouldn't pick someone like Matt. My personal style perhaps tends more towards a less patterned/floral version of Roisin. The competition is slightly different to Real Life as the client gets no choice over what style the designer loves.

I think they probably all have their place somewhere.

They were all right about what the process had taught them. They do need to be less rigid with their preferred style but I guess overall, that's still going to be their signature style.

Well Kelly hoppen has done well repeating her style. I find her a bit dull but she’s ultimately had a style named after her!

Matt would do very well designing show homes and the same clientele as hoppen. He has a very male style which is unusual in these shows and quite refreshing in a way!

Roisin and Matt are good finalists. Ben is fun but I could never see him winning.

I cringed when I saw that gold leaf in the preview though 😬

I suspect Roisin will win as she’s the one who has been on the best journey - Matt was great all along (although I do think it was fortunate for him that Ben was on one of his wacky weeks this last episode ).

I’m still a bit confused by the shoe fridge tbh. Everyone he mentioned it too thought he was made and SEB had clearly never heard of this concept

When she was doing the room, I couldn’t help but feel that Roisinsw room was too busy and not at all relaxing. I felt that it v much suited Sophie’s own style though so she loved it, but had they got another pop star on, with different taste, they might have found that room too much and preferred Matt’s. Felt like it was almost inevitable that rosin would do so well simply because of who the guest judge was
