Emma leaving seemed very abrupt- one minute they were discussing doing dinners of distinction for Al, (and she was involved in all that) the next she was flying off to Australia to look after the adult son she hadn't seen for years. And she's not come back. It felt like it had to be written in quickly, because of something behind the scenes.

Dido Miles has been seen filming scenes apparently, but there is very little time left (what with the extended Summer break, and the fact it ends in December) for her to be on screen now - so I don't expect if we do see her, it will be til about September. Hope I'm wrong, it's a shame she's just vanished- though i do like Michelle- at least she can act. (I wish they would get rid of Sid)

I looked for info on Dido and there’s surprisingly little out there. I saw she’s done some filming for Doctors via a Twitter conversation and IMDB has one 2023 Father Brown credit as additional character voice’ but that’s it for screen acting.

I didn’t turn up any personal info, but her absence feels like it must be personal or health related. Hope she’s ok.

I like Michelle and the acting’s better, but they haven’t fleshed out her character much, just her scenes at The Mill or with Zara.

No but I did read a few weeks back that she was filming, not sure when though. She might have just come back for the last scenes, maybe, though I hope not.

martini no, they can't really do much with Michelle- it's almost as though they were bringing her in anyway (because Nina/Wendi was always going to leave)- but then the axe fell, and now there's no real in doing anything big with her. Which is a shame. So, instead of Michelle perhaps being the 'new partner' - Suni is, which is actually quite improbable. Although I do like him.

But in the time frame, and given the fact it's being cancelled, they don't care anymore
