Looks like we need a new thread.

I wonder if Graham's actually working for the conglomerate that are supposed to be taking over where he currently works and he's going to infiltrate The Mill and assist a buy out?

Graham dresses like a country vet.

He's going to turn it into 'Letherbrdge Farm'.

Without animals, of course.

@martinisforeveryone snap!

I think Paige has got the wrong end of the stick.

Yes, I'm hoping they were sending her packing.

martinisforeveryone · 06/06/2024 14:31

That's surely be a spin off series @Raahh 😄

No one made any mention of the speaking receptionist at The Campus surgery!

Ridemeginger · 06/06/2024 14:31

I've seen better cliffhangers in the bog cleaning programme that's on next.

Raahh · 06/06/2024 14:30

Yes, I'm hoping they were sending her packing.

I'm absolutely fascinated by how high Paige can squeak. Only surprised that dogs don't come running from all over the West Midlands.

EventuallyDecluttered · 06/06/2024 14:34

That was a rubbish way to break for the summer

😂😂😂😂😂

Raahh · 06/06/2024 14:35

martin- I think it has potential. Paige could be a crap Vet's assistant, wrangle a few cats.

They can do house calls, to rich women with big kitchens and small poodles.

Raahh · 06/06/2024 14:35

JL690 · 06/06/2024 14:34

😂😂😂😂😂

See- when they run a vet, that will be her skill.

and big taps, don't forget those

martinisforeveryone · 06/06/2024 14:51

@Raahh well, Paige's declared ambition IS to marry a Doctor 😁

And as something funny to chuckle about over Summer, after all this time I've only just realised the ambiguity of my screen name. I have no affection for anyone named Martin. It's not Martin IS for Everyone, it's meant to be an open bar with Martinis for everyone. I'm shaking my head at myself and laughing at the same time Gin

EventuallyDecluttered · 06/06/2024 15:02

I've been reading it as Martini Grin

Binglebong · 06/06/2024 18:06

Graham is patronising and dodgy as hell. I think the spy idea might be right.

See you all late August.

ALovelyCupOfNameChange · 07/06/2024 09:42

graham sets off my creepy alarm. I was worried for Paige when he was with her

Wasn't that St Phil's, the hospital where Suni has his MH clinic?

Yes, it was . He was seeing Kyra at the hospital I think .

martinisforeveryone · 07/06/2024 21:05

My mistake, thank you. I was glancing up and then down again at the keyboard and didn't clock that. I thought it seemed strange.

lazarusb · 07/06/2024 22:14

Yesterday's episode was definitely a damp squib! I agree Graham is up to no good and Zara will be furious and broken hearted when she finds out. I also think Paige will be let go and definitely won't get a permanent contract.

OCaledonia · 09/06/2024 17:00

No mention of Tash either as a permanent member of staff 🤔😞

OCaledonia · 09/06/2024 17:01

Yup damp squib indeed, no cliffhanger. It's as if they didn't realise that's when the hiatus would happen 😂

JL690 · 10/06/2024 14:08

Oh dear, I'm almost at a loss for something to watch. I think I might slum it with Countdown today 🤔

Binglebong · 10/06/2024 14:43

What is the point of the BBC with no Doctors? Waaahhhhh!

Raahh · 10/06/2024 16:26

Bingle it's rubbish. And it does not bode well for what they will replace it with in the the future - an hour of news? More boring quiz shows?

<sulk>

ageingdisgracefully · 10/06/2024 17:23

Is anyone watching 5 Bedrooms? I may give that a try. It's on BBC2.

Raahh · 10/06/2024 17:31

'5 Bedrooms' is great, really good story lines- unfortunately, I've already seen them all (I think this is the 4th series on now? ) I hope they do another.
