martini the writing for Kirsty has been good lately, and I have warmed to her a lot. She's playing the cynical, put upon, colleague very well. I would have totally blown my top at Paige by now, and probably ended up being the one losing my job!

It's a shame they made her so annoying at the start (there was never any real need for the whole Rich/Ollie stuff)- because I like her and Scarlett together , and she has some great scenes with Al.

Oh that's Monday. From Tuesday, there appears to be a one hour long news programme called BBC News at One including Nations and Regions (sic).

Doctors meets Midsomer Murders - the other actors have appeared there too I think!

Today's episode was by Tom Ogden, who's been writing for Doctors since 2002.
It was very Al Poirot wasn't it, or was it more Columbo? or maybe a cross between the two. As an aside, every time Al says DOCtective, I hear DOGdective Woof Woof.

I know characters take a little while to bed in (except Luca and Michelle really) but the awful accent Kirsty has, plus, as you said @Raahh being saddled with two useless lumps - Ollie and Scarlett was one of my least favourite storylines ever, did her no favours whatsoever.

I'm liking the two parter, even if I could guess every step, particularly the lights all faltering and the father being dead at the table.

Pretty certain if it has oysters in it isn't vegan!

Oh I wasn't listening properly, are you sure it wasn't oyster mushrooms?

Just caught up, it was one of those “what has he been in?” epsiodes and it took me almost until the end to remember that the father was Geoff in Motherland 🤭

Probably, I thought it was "oysters, comma mushrooms" but could be wrong.
