Looks like we need a new thread.

I remember that George later slept with Nick as a sort of apology shag for him being in a wheelchair. Then her husband Ronnie found out and he set up a swingers dinner party - which George only discovered when they were there and they had an argument about it.

You've got a good memory@lazarusb. Despite watching pretty much every episode since about 2003, I can't remember anything much.
Quite enjoying (if that's the word) Dr Eliot's court case. I had quite a crush on him, if memory serves (I have a soft spot for strong, silent types...).

lazarusb · 26/04/2024 17:35

I really liked George and Ronnie and I think that's why it stayed in my head @ageingdisgracefully 😂 I think it was the beginning of the end for them in lovely Letherbridge!

@Raahh Yes, I think Ronnie thought it was a bit much too 😂

ageingdisgracefully · 26/04/2024 21:47

Didn't Ronnie go on to be a director of the show or something?

I liked his character, and George's too. Well-rounded.

Yes, Sean Gleeson has done a lot of directing/producing.

And is married to 'George' in RL Grin

Why has this woman come to waste an appointment? Getting her to talk is like pulling teeth , and she has brought a doula with her?And she just come to have a 'complain about midwives' storyline ?

Binglebong · 29/04/2024 13:49

Hello lovelies.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 13:49

Al is being mean. Don't leave Suni to end up having a breakdown (or he will leave, and Zara will be worse).

Raahh · 29/04/2024 13:50

Hello!!

JL690 · 29/04/2024 13:53

That doula is very controlling for a supporter.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 13:53

Leave it, Ruhma. When it all goes wrong, let her blame it on the doula. Except she won't she will blame Ruhma.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 13:53

oh, Zara has her condescending super posh voice on.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 13:56

She will probably crash the car or something on the way to St Phils.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 13:57

Zara is a hypocrite- she dumped Nina on them , in the first place. Suni is kind of her fault.

JL690 · 29/04/2024 13:57

How long has that Red Leicester cheese poster been on the wall? That's one of my favoutire cheeses.

Binglebong · 29/04/2024 13:59

It's my go to cheese. Not my favourite but most versatile.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 14:01

Grin. I'm not much of a cheese eater, I really only eat Cheshire. And stilton with cranberries at Christmas.

Binglebong · 29/04/2024 14:01

Oh God, not more Dave.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 14:01

Dave really doesn't understand that the grown ups have to work, does he?

JL690 · 29/04/2024 14:01

He's not proposing is he? 😬

Binglebong · 29/04/2024 14:02

Cambazola... yum!

Is Dave going to ask to marry Kirsty?

Raahh · 29/04/2024 14:02

Has she lied, and she has had a baby before ?

Binglebong · 29/04/2024 14:03

I think so. Of course, it may have been as fake as that bump.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 14:03

I hope he doesn't propose.

Binglebong · 29/04/2024 14:04

And this is why we need joined up notes.

Raahh · 29/04/2024 14:05

Oh- she thinks someone lost a baby because of her?
