Must start planning my Saturday nights round DT.

Think it's supposed to start the 5th - at 6.20pm, maybe Sky want you to miss the first ep and have to watch their programmes instead :D

PersonalClown · 28/03/2008 19:19

Even better!! I don't have to wait so long!!

OP posts:
sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 19:21

You're not the only one - I've been waiting ageeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. It's almost a good thing Simm's not in this one, would have died waiting by now

Immaculateconception · 28/03/2008 19:39

It's on the Dr Who site saying it starts on the 5th April at 6.20pm

PersonalClown · 28/03/2008 19:40

Wonder why the Sky mag has it a week later.
Are they trying to irritate me?!

sphil · 28/03/2008 20:12

6.20? I thought it was 7pm! Stupid time imo. Not enough time to put younger ones to bed, so they have to stay up disrupting the DT ogling (me) and the hiding behind fingers (DS1).

LaundryFairy · 28/03/2008 20:27

Can hardly wait for next Saturday - I'm counting down the days with DS. He doesn't realize that I watch it for slightly less wholesome reasons than he does...

I know someone who works for BBC and has seen first episode and says it is fab - Catherine Tate is brilliant - brings a real maturity to the role. (I would add that my source did NOT give away any plot details as per her signed agreement in spite of my offers to get her sozzled on the beverage of her choice...)

SueBaroo · 28/03/2008 20:57

It is a stupid time. No chance to get it recorded and previewed, either. Most put out.

sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 20:58

I know sphil, but I think it will be 7pm after. I'm going to be terrible on Saturday, will wear dd out that day, put her to bed early with a fave book and a biccie then ignore any protests until 7

sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 21:00

And if anyone can't wait that long, DT is on the Friday Night Project in an hour

wonders if she'll ever stop fancying DT

Cappuccino · 28/03/2008 21:00

yes agree with sphil

dd2 was traumatised enough by seeing a poster at my friend's house this afternoon

Cappuccino · 28/03/2008 21:00

sonic noooooooo

dh wants to watch Transporter 2

sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 21:01

Offer to pay for him to rent Transporter 2 tomorrow night?

PersonalClown · 28/03/2008 21:03

I've seen some pictures of the Friday night Project. I'll disappear in a an hour!
Erm, Sonic? Why should you stop fancying DT?
It's Perfectly reasonable!

LaundryFairy · 28/03/2008 21:04

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou Sonic! Did not spot that listing for tonight

sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 21:06

I know, but it takes up a fair part of my life, all these programs I'm forced to watch and drool over appreciate

sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 21:07

Glad to help LF - no-one should miss his little cheeky face

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:08

OMG! I'm soooo happy now! It feels like I've been waiting ages for it to start! Thank you loads PersonalClown!!! P.S. I also think that fancying DT (LIKE MAD!) is perfectly acceptable! xx

sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 21:10

It's those mad grins and that weird teeth-snapping thing comes over all peculiar

Miggsie · 28/03/2008 21:12

..yes totally agree sonicdeathmonkey and have you noticed they edit it from 2 different camera angles as well so it looks even more manic when he does it?

Must go and have cold shower...!

PersonalClown · 28/03/2008 21:12

Just to keep us going!
I know you all understand!!

LaundryFairy · 28/03/2008 21:16

Ta Personal Clown! I'm so glad I've found a DT addict support group!

Is anyone else going to see him at Stratford this summer? I'm booked in for Loves Labours Lost in November.

PersonalClown · 28/03/2008 21:18

I wish I could but being a single parent to an autistic Ds has its downsides.
I really miss seeing Shakespeare performed live.

OP posts:
sonicdeathmonkey · 28/03/2008 21:23

I'm booked to see LLL as well, in November too! Early Nov by any chance? I've begged, bribed and otherwise persuaded my sis to babysit dd for about 36 hours just to get there!!! Never seen Shakespeare live professionally - soooo looking forward to it!

I should watch all DT IN a cold shower PC - love that photo but why does he insist on looking so good even when NOT smiling?

LaundryFairy · 28/03/2008 21:26

No, I'm going mid-November.

I've seen shed loads of Shakespeare performed (even King John - nobody sees King John!), but I'm still very, very excited about seeing DT in LLL.
